At one o'clock this morning, Apple released the iOS 15.5 RC version, the version number is 19F77, as shown in the picture below (screenshot from WeChat "Notification Center)":
The first beta version of iOS 15.5 was released on April 6, today's RC version is the fifth beta version of iOS 15.5. If nothing unexpected happens, the official version will be released next week.
In about 2 weeks, WWDC 2022 will be held, when the iOS 16 developer preview will be unveiled.
iOS 15.5 is certainly not the last version of iOS 15. According to convention, iOS 15 will be updated to at least September this year, because September is the release date of the official version of iOS 16.
The last version of iOS 14 was 14.8, and iOS 15 is expected to be similar.
Changes in iOS 15.5
According to the official statement, iOS 15.5 optimizes applications such as Apple Cash Card, podcast , etc., and fixes some bugs. The biggest change is Apple Cash Card, but the feature isn't available in the country.
