It is reported that the selection indicator consists of three parts: technical parameters, enterprise qualifications and clinical application evaluation. The selection index is higher than the registration requirements; the three scores of products selected for excellent domestic medical equipment product catalogs shall not be lower than 80% of the full score of this standard. At the same time, the selected items are scientifically classified and dynamically adjusted, and the selected items are scientifically designated according to the medical service needs of different medical institutions; new products and new technologies are regularly selected, and those who do not meet the conditions for excellent products are promptly eliminated.
As of August 2022, the China Medical Equipment Association has completed the selection and evaluation of eight batches of excellent domestic medical equipment selection catalogs, involving 117 items including medical imaging, in vitro diagnosis, radiation therapy, rehabilitation therapy, high-value consumables, etc., and a total of 1,772 products from 282 companies have been shortlisted.
