She had a fever on October 19, and the next day, the concentration of respiratory asthma and oxygen decreased to the emergency room. The fast screening was positive. After X-ray examination, bilateral pneumonia was found. She was hospitalized for treatment with remdesivir , antibiotic and other drugs, but unfortunately died on the 22nd, because of new coronary pneumonia and respiratory failure.
There is another case for a woman in her 30s who has a history of cancer metastasis and has received two doses of vaccine. On October 5, cancer chemotherapy and other related factors caused general weakness and low blood cells. She was hospitalized for hospitalization on the 12th. As for severe cases, 2 new cases of MIS-C were added. Luo Yijun explained that one of them was a 4-year-old boy who had no history of chronic illness and was not vaccinated. He was initially diagnosed with acute tonsil inflammation and suspected MIS-C in the emergency room. He is still hospitalized in the general ward and is in a stable condition.
Another case is a teenager. A 15-year-old man has a history of allergic rhinitis and urticaria. He has received three doses of vaccine. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 6. He started to have a general rash, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and edema on the face and eyelids. On the 20th, he went to the emergency room to initially diagnose urticaria with angioedema and suspected MIS-C. He was hospitalized. He was given immunoglobulin, steroids and other drugs. At the same time, he was diagnosed with plasminos infection and provided antibiotics. After treatment, his condition improved and he was discharged from the hospital on the 26th.
According to statistics from the command center, there are 258 severe cases in children under the age of 12, including 168 MIS-C, 33 encephalitis , 26 pneumonia, 11 croup, 4 sepsis, 5 comorbidities and others, 2 myocarditis , and 9 deaths at home; 37 of them died, including 13 encephalitis, 8 pneumonia, 3 sepsis, 2 comorbidities, croup and myocarditis, and 9 deaths at home.
13 to 18-year-old adolescents have a total of 22 severe cases, including 11 pneumonia, 7 MIS-C, 3 comorbidities, and 1 myocarditis, including 6 deaths, 5 pneumonia, and 1 myocarditis.
