Selection and precautions for mask
Proper use, storage and cleaning of masks is the key to maintaining effectiveness. It is recommended that the public choose disposable medical masks , medical surgical masks or above protective level masks, and comply with the following regulations:
1 wear mask correctly to ensure that the mask covers the mouth, nose and chin, and the nose clips should be clamped tightly.
2 Masks need to be replaced in time when they appear dirty, deformed, damaged, or odorous. The cumulative wearing time for each mask shall not exceed 83 hours
3 masks used in cross-regional public transportation or hospitals and other environments are not recommended to be reused.
4 Masks that need to be reused should be hung in a clean, dry and ventilated place when not in use.
5 If you feel discomfort during wearing a mask, you should go to an open and ventilated place to remove the mask immediately.
6 You should carry a spare mask when going out and store it in the original packaging bag or a clean storage bag to avoid squeezing and deformation. Discarded masks are classified as other garbage disposal.
7 It is recommended that households keep a small amount of particulate matter protective masks and medical protective masks for backup.

How to determine whether the mask meets medical standards?
The key to whether the mask is good is whether it has been registered and whether it meets the corresponding standard requirements.
Query the registration number of masks
In my country, medical masks are managed as medical devices and need to be registered with the drug supervision and administration department.
Query method: Find the registration certificate number on the outer packaging of the mask, and then you can query it through National Drug Administration official website.

Note: Particulate protective mask is not supervised as a medical device, so it cannot be found. However, the Market Supervision Administration will conduct random inspections and publicize unqualified products.

Each mask has its corresponding product standards. According to the standard requirements, must indicate the execution standard number on the minimum packaging. If the standard number cannot be found, it is recommended not to use such masks.
