Oral health is an important part of whole body health, and World Health Organization lists oral health as one of the top ten standards for human health. According to the results of the first epidemiological survey report of oral health in Hunan Province, the caries rate of deciduous teeth in the 3-5-year-old age group in the province was 63.5%, the caries rate of permanent teeth in the 12-15-year-old age group was 36.7%, the periodontal health rate in the 35-44-year-old age group was 6.3%, and the periodontal health rate in the 55-64-year-old age group was 3.3%.
Wang Ruoping emphasized the need to take the love day theme publicity campaign as an opportunity to carry out popular education on dental disease prevention and dental health knowledge among the masses, and enhance the concept of oral health and self-oral health awareness.
