cognitive psychology, a psychological trend and research direction that emerged in the West in the mid-1950s. It refers to the study of advanced psychological processes in humans, mainly cognitive processes, such as attention, perception, representation, memory, creativity, problem solving, speech and thinking, etc.
narrowly means contemporary information processing psychology. That is, use the information processing perspective to study the cognitive process. Its historical background can be traced back to the ancient Greek era two thousand years ago. At that time, some outstanding philosophers and thinkers such as Plato and Aristotle had thought about cognitive processes such as memory and thinking. In addition to the influence of philosophical thought, it can also be examined from the development of psychology itself and the impact of cross-penetration with some nearby disciplines.

In this issue, we specially invited 1 , the tenured professor of the Department of Experimental Psychology of Oxford University to help all those interested in studying abroad to achieve the improvement of background and improve personal academic ability .
Members who are interested in Cognitive psychology, autism spectrum disorder, adolescence psychology, social emotions theory, empathy and the neural basis of fairness, etc. , come and sign up for it~

Cognitive Psychology: Research on Human Typical and Atypical Diversity
Scientific Research Project Introduction
Cognitive Psychology is a discipline that studies how we perceive and interpret information from the world. Around us, combine this new information with our previous experience and determine how to deal with changing environments. While the main purpose of this course is to introduce you to the scientific research of psychology, you will also begin to understand the core role cognition plays in our daily lives. Under the guidance of the final professor, students will conduct academic research and discussion, and combine the course content to complete a scientific research paper or other scientific research output required by the professor. The form of scientific research output (group form or individual form) is checked by the professor throughout the process.
Introduction to Professor

Oxford University
Tenure professor of the Department of Experimental Psychology
Tenure-time professor of the Department of Experimental Psychology
British government science policy consultant
Researcher at the Center for Economics and Social Evolution
[Professor Profile]
The professor's doctoral research is about the mechanisms we imitate other people's behavior. After this he moved to the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience (ICN), University College London, where I worked with Professor Chris and Professor Uta Fries to study Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This work mainly utilizes functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and studies some processes in ASD adults. These include: attention regulation, executive function, empathy, decision-making, and emotional awareness of social and non-social stimuli. Since October 2007, he served as a consultant to the UK government's scientific policy for one year, and then joined the Birkbeck Department of Psychological Sciences in October 2008. He moved to the MRC SGDP Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), and in January 2013 he continued to study the social perception of typical individuals and people with autism at King's College London . On IoPPN, he developed a strong interest in mutual perception (our ability to perceive the internal state of the body) and alexithymia (a subclinical disease characterized by the inability to recognize and describe one's own emotions). In January 2017, the professor transferred to the Department of Experimental Psychology at Oxford University.
