From October 24th to 28th, the first "Guangdong Province New Literary and Art Group Street Dance Creative Talent Training Class" hosted by Guangdong Dancers Association and hosted by the Popular Dance Committee of the Guangdong Dancers Association and the Guangdong Youth Street Dance Association (CHUC Guangdong Liaison Office) was held in Guangzhou.
According to reports, this training class is the first time that the Guangdong Provincial Dancers Association has held a professional dance choreography training for street dance youth, aiming to promote the development of street dance sinicization and localization and improve the level of street dance choreography and creation in our province.
After the personal street dance videos submitted by screening, 50 street dance youths with an average age of less than 24 from all cities across the province participated in this training. Xia Guangxing, the creative art director of the China Song and Dance Theater, and the first-level director, is a full-time vice chairman and secretary-general of the Guangdong Dance Association, and famous dance directors and experts such as choreographers and experts, have carried out training on the basic principles of street dance choreographing, theme practice creation, dance language application, stage theoretical knowledge, dance prop development, stage lighting learning, street dance choreographing techniques, etc., to bring professional, efficient and practical choreographing knowledge to Guangdong street dance practitioners.
