Water conservancy projects change the fate of provinces and cities, and are by no means casually speaking. In ancient times, there were Dujiangyan , Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal , and today there are South-to-North Water Diversion and Moscow Grand Canal. Below we will introduce several major projects:
Guangxi Pinglu Canal, the total length of is about 135 kilometers. It exceeds the standard for the 3,000-ton ship of inland river navigation, and can navigate 5,000-ton ships. Pinglu Canal connects Xijiang shipping trunk line and Beibu Gulf International Hub Port, and will open the Xijiang main flow into the sea channel with the shortest distance, through Zuojiang , Youjiang , Qianjiang t ml1, , Hongshuihe , , , Liujiang , , Duliujiang and other tributaries connect Guizhou , Yunnan , and realize the direct connection between inland waterway and marine transportation in the southwest region of . The estimated total investment is 72.7 billion yuan.
Zhejiang-Jiangxi-Guangxi Canal, consisting of the Jiangxi-Guangxi Canal and the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Canal, with a total length of about 1,988 kilometers. The planned length of the Jiangxi-Guangxi Canal is about 1,228 kilometers. It adopts the Class III waterway planning of the 1,228 kilometers of the navigable 1,000 tons of ships, with a planned investment of about 150 billion yuan; the planned length of the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Canal is about 760 kilometers, with a Class III waterway planning of the navigable 1,000 tons of ships, with a planned investment of about 170 billion yuan.
Xianggui Canal , a provincial water transport channel connecting Hunan and Guangxi, is expected to be a project of 55 counties and cities, including Huize Yueyang , Changsha, Zhuzhou , Xiangtan , Hengyang , Yongzhou , Guilin, Wuzhou , etc., with 134,900 square kilometers and more than 40 million people. The Hunan-Guizhou Canal has an investment of 149.6 billion yuan.
