Recently, as the top form pylon and the slewing tower crane are pushed to the 100th mezzanine level, the landmark building "Greenland Shufeng 468" in Chengdu has completed the last core tube jacking. With the blessing of "span6span", the height of the building has reached 448 meters, and only 20 meters away from the ceiling, setting the record for the tallest building under construction in the west.
The working platform is about 410 meters high, and the workers are busy with construction. After the completion of the Shufeng 468 project, it will be among the top 20 tallest buildings in the world and become a "cover-level" skyscraper in Chengdu.

Project Overview
peak 468 is located in Sichuan Chengdu Jinjiang Village The central area of the cultural and creative industry is invested by Greenland Group, designed by AS+GG Architects of the United States, and constructed by the Chengdu Branch of China Construction Third Bureau; Thornton Tomasetti of the United States and East China Institute jointly completed the structural design.
The project includes a 468-meter main tower, two annex buildings over 100 meters, and a 3-story podium. The total construction area is about 1.38 million square meters and the total investment scale is 12 billion yuan.
The tower design is inspired by the regional characteristics of snow-capped mountains and glaciers in Southwest China.It also incorporates the characteristics of Chengdu city flower- hibiscus flower . The inclination direction of the steel column on the facade follows the rule of "introverted-extraverted" alternation, thus forming a concave-convex staggered "mountain peak" shape, with the top blooming like petals.
Chengdu Plain Since ancient times, it has been known as the land of abundance. It has cultivated a thousand-year-old basin and plain culture on the fertile land. From Du Fu 's "window contains Xiling Qianqiu snow, door mooring Soochow Wanli Ship" can be glimpsed. The construction of the 468 skyscraper in Greenland Shufeng is a continuation of this spirit and symbolizes Chengdu's uprightness and the rise of the west.
