Before the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the United States repeatedly released news that Russia was about to attack Ukraine. I disagreed with it at the time and mocked the United States for all my might, but I was slapped in the face.
Since then, I have gone from one extreme to another, and I attach great importance to the information from the United States. Of course, fence-branders like me are despised by people, but in addition to paying attention to some information released by the United States, we should also look at it rationally.
Specifically for the information that the United States claims that "the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will slow down in the next few months." From a personal opinion, the United States may have several basis and judgments:
First, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has been in a state of strategic stalemate. Neither side of Russia nor Ukrainian has achieved a decisive victory.

Second, winter is coming, and the so-called Russian "winter counterattack" that the outside world predicted may not be able to launch. Then, the outside world had predicted that Russia would launch an offensive with the help of the severe cold and turned into motivation to stop Russia's offensive.
Third, Russia already has the intention to negotiate. Many senior Russian officials have expressed the possibility of negotiations on many different occasions, even Putin and himself.

However, under the premise that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is slowing down, various undercurrents are also surging:
First, the aid of the United States and European countries to Ukraine has not only not decreased, but has more and more aid and more weapons of aid are becoming more and more advanced. For example, the United States announced two days ago that it would provide Ukraine with eight NASAMS air defense missile systems worth US$1.2 billion; the United Kingdom earlier provided Ukraine with a thousand "Sulphurite-2" missiles - which is more advanced than the "Sulphurite-1" missiles earlier.
Second, when Russia repeatedly hinted that it had a willingness to negotiate, the United States and European countries behind Ukraine did not clearly express their attitude towards this. Even the continued strong aid of Ukraine shows that the United States and European countries have a weak willingness to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine through negotiations. Therefore, it is manifested that Ukraine either Zelensky simply said that it was not easy to negotiate, or it offered a "sky-high price" for the negotiations, so there was no possibility of negotiations between the two sides at all.

3: Russia has never relaxed its military preparations. On the one hand, the Russian army began to receive new advanced weapons, such as the Su-35S fighter that was just exposed yesterday, the "Iskander-M" tactical missiles and the production of many drones and s that were exposed earlier; on the other hand, the 300,000 troops of Russia's "partial mobilization order" announced today that they had completed military training. what does that mean? Of course, these hundreds of thousands of people can be sent to the front line of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict or serve the Russian-Ukrainian conflict at any time.
If it is true as US intelligence officials say, "The Russian-Ukrainian conflict will slow down in the next few months", then Russia's military preparations will definitely not slow down. Even in the few months of the slowdown, Russia will improve its combat capabilities through military deployment and weapons and equipment, and it may not necessarily be necessary for the Russian military to improve its combat capabilities in the next few months.
If the Russian army's combat effectiveness has been improved and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has not been able to resolve the problem through negotiations in the past few months of slowing down, it is possible that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will have a bigger battle.
