Merit and award evaluation, conveys the honor guide of an army.
A unit, a group of people, who makes meritorious service, who receives awards, who is judged as advanced and gets benefits, is a collective matter.
Recently, the military newspaper has paid great attention to this matter.
For example, on December 20, the Military Daily devoted a whole page to talking about this matter -

In short, in terms of merit evaluation, if you can convince everyone, then it is considered to be in place!

The military newspaper talked about merit evaluation and awards in the "Law and Rule of Military Camp" section. It mainly said the following things -
① Whether a person works in the unit or not does not affect the merit evaluation and awards.
In a certain company, one of the core cadres who were taken out for new training was recorded as third-class merit , and 5 people were recorded as commendations. The approach of
has attracted a lot of attention and discussion.
Because many officers and soldiers themselves feel that they have been away on missions for a long time and have contributed less to company building. Moreover, their comrades do not know much about their performance while away from home, so they can only "step aside" when judging merit and awards.
In fact, situations like were common in the past -
people are not in the unit, so don’t think about judging merit and awards!
As the saying goes, "First come first, first served". If you are not in the unit, you will indeed suffer in terms of merit and awards.
However, the practices mentioned in this report can’t help but make people’s eyes shine.
After all, whether you work in the company or not, you are actually contributing to our strong army cause!

② Even if you make mistakes and receive criticism, you may still make meritorious deeds and receive awards.
There has always been a habitual thinking: "If something goes wrong at the beginning of the year, a year's work will be in vain; if something goes wrong at the end of the year, a year's work will be in vain."
Ran Fa, a corporal from a command and guard service company of the Air Force in the Western Theater Command, did not expect that he would be rated as an outstanding individual with "four qualities".
The reason is that more than a month before the merit evaluation, Ran Fa also made an inspection at the company's military meeting because the training was not safe and rigorous enough.
However, when looking back on a year's work, Ran Fa's performance in the company has always been outstanding. The dilemma for the party branch of the
company is that they have just conducted an inspection. Can they include him as a candidate for commendation? Is
"if there is a problem, it will not be considered for evaluation", or to avoid "one mistake ruins everything". This is not only a matter of choice, but also a question of orientation.
The final result is that in this year's evaluation, a total of 3 officers and soldiers from this command post met the fault-tolerant situation that does not affect the first evaluation of excellence. They were rated as "four haves" outstanding individuals or received awards for their excellent performance throughout the year. The orientation of
is clear:
fault tolerance is not just a talk, but it is also reflected in the merit evaluation at the end of the year.

Perhaps it is to explain the matter of "merits and awards" more thoroughly.
Military Daily 10 days later, on December 30, once again focused on the issue of "merits and awards" -

In this report, the two new regulations mentioned are very worthy of attention-
First, "If some (sub) teams go to remote and difficult areas to temporarily perform tasks or rotate to remote and difficult areas for 6 months, they can be implemented according to the reward ratio of the corresponding area."
Second, "Division, brigade and regiment-level units with the authority to approve rewards can, with the approval of the higher-level unit, appropriately increase the proportion of annual individual merit records based on the annual work intensity, quality and efficiency of task completion, and overall construction progress of the underlying units."
These two regulations both focus on 's "increased meritorious service indicators."

If a unit stationed in an ordinary area is stationed in a difficult and remote area for training or on temporary missions for 6 months, it can be rewarded according to the reward ratio in the difficult and remote area. This ratio is obviously higher than that in ordinary areas!
In addition, after approval, the tour group unit can also appropriately increase the annual personal credit ratio!
It is estimated that many people and many units are still unclear about these two regulations;
even if they are clear, they may not necessarily dare to use them.
Now, the military newspaper has reported that it encourages qualified units to make good use of these two regulations, increase the proportion of meritorious service and awards, and further stimulate the morale of soldiers!
This is actually an -oriented problem!
involves the main leaders of each unit, whether they really dare to fight for the interests of their subordinates, and whether they can understand the intentions of their superiors' documents.

Merit and award evaluation is actually an exam.
tests whether party committees at all levels can set and implement standards for combat effectiveness, and whether they can regard combat effectiveness as the only fundamental standard!
tests the public spirit and courage of leaders at all levels - can they get rid of the idea of "balanced care and taking turns to take charge", and do they dare to break the "harmony" and " egalitarianism"?
Merits and awards are a good baton!
Let the winners feel confident, the losers convinced, and the losers inspired!
