Just when Zhang Weilin escaped from the detention center and joined the Southern Bureau, guards from the Inspection Office discovered his escape and immediately sent people to search his home. As a result, they found top-secret documents of the military command, radio station passwords, application forms for Zhang Weilin and others to join the CCP organization, etc. . Such a major case occurred at the Juntong Radio Station and was quickly reported to the Juntong Bureau headquarters.
Zhang Weilin was imprisoned in the detention center of the Inspection Office and was worried. He was worried that the party organization and comrades would be implicated. Therefore, he decided to find someone to pass the news on.

Dai Li personally interrogated Zhang Luping and used various cruel methods. Steel wire rubber whips were used to whip her back, causing her back to become red, swollen and painful, and her flesh and blood were blurred.
Whether it was through coercion or inducement or interrogation and torture, Zhang Luping never revealed a single word related to the Southern Bureau of the CCP.
Because no useful information was obtained, the military commander sentenced seven people, including Zhang Luping, to death. They were imprisoned in Bai Gongguan and Xifeng Prison.
In late 1945, Dai Li ordered the execution of 7 people. Before leaving, Zhang Luping gently kissed the "little carrot head" on the face, and then died calmly.
Gunshots sounded, and Zhang Luping and her comrades left this world forever. She was 24 years old.
