China.com November 28th At 9:00 a.m. on November 28th, the General Command of the Space Station Phase Flight Mission held a press conference on Shenzhou 15 manned flight mission at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center to inform the relevant situation of Shenzhou 15 launch mission. According to of the China Manned Space Engineering Office, Shenzhou 15 aims to be launched at 23:08 on November 29. The flight crew consists of astronauts Fei Junlong , Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu, with Fei Junlong serving as the commander. At present, the Long March 2 F Yao 15 rocket, which is carrying out this launch mission, is about to start propellant refueling.
It is reported that this mission is the sixth flight mission of China's manned spacecraft project this year, and it is also the last flight mission in the space station construction stage. The astronaut crew will work and live in orbit for 6 months. The main purpose of the mission is to verify the ability of the space station to support crew rotation, realize the first in-orbit rotation of astronaut crews; carry out the installation and debugging of equipment related to equipment inside and outside the space station cabin and space application tasks, conduct space science experiments and technical tests; carry out daily maintenance and maintenance of the space station; and verify the normal operation mode of the three-cabin combination of the space station.
China manned spacecraft spokesperson Ji Qiming introduced at the meeting that according to the plan, after the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft enters orbit, it will adopt the autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking mode to connect to the forward port of Tianhe core cabin to form a three-cabin three-ship combination. This is the largest configuration of the China Space Station , with a total mass of nearly 100 tons. During the orbital residence, the Shenzhou 15 astronaut crew will welcome the visit and docking of the Tianzhou 6 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft, and will return to the Dongfeng landing site in May next year.
At present, the space station assembly status and various equipment are working normally, and the conditions for rendezvous and docking and astronaut crew rotation are met. The quality of Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft and Long March 2 F Yao 15 launch vehicle is under control. The Shenzhou 15 astronauts are in good condition, the ground system facilities and equipment are running stably, and all preparations before launch are basically ready. Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew is scheduled to complete the on-orbit rotation mission within one week and return to the Dongfeng landing site.
