On the evening of October 29th local time, a stampede occurred in Itaewon, Yongsan District, Seoul, killing many people. People were having a Halloween celebration at the time of the accident.
Fire department said that the accident occurred around 10:15 pm. After receiving the call, the fire department and the police rushed to the scene and implemented emergency measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the fainting personnel, and sent the injured to the hospital.
At around 11:20 pm local time, more than 10 people fell on the roadside of the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, and rescuers resuscitated their cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
South Korean fire department said it had received reports of 81 people having difficulty breathing and more than 50 people had cardiac arrest.
