According to Kashofon, Mexico will set up a promotion committee on November 30, and then evaluate and determine the bidding city. International Olympic Committee Director-General DeKepper once said that the International Olympic Committee is in dialogue with 10 national and regional Olympic committees that are interested in bidding for the 2036 Summer Olympics. Countries known to be interested in bidding for the 2036 Summer Olympics include South Korea, the United Kingdom, Egypt , Germany, India, Indonesia and Qatar .
The British "Entertainment Information" website said that German Olympic Committee Chairman Thomas Victor has set the 2034 Winter Olympics and the 2036 Summer Olympics as potential bid targets.
