AFP reported that evangelical Christian tourists from all over the world flocked to watch spectacular stage performances and sharp condemnation of scientific facts, such as the claim that dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years ago.
As the United States enters the midterm elections, visitors also reflect the separatist politics in the United States, and creationists often align with Republican on issues such as abortion and homosexual rights.
"Evolutionists often use dinosaurs to promote their worldview. So we have brought the dinosaurs back if you want to," said Mark Luy, co-founder of Ark Amusement Park and Museum.
Lui, standing a few steps from the skeleton model of allosaurs, said the site offers a different perspective of dinosaurs—“most of which were killed in floods about 4,500 years ago.”
