Foods containing cannabis ingredients must first obtain permission from the Thai Food and Drug Administration before advertising the benefits, quality and product characteristics of such goods. , do not mislead children, pregnant women, and lactating women into purchasing edibles, and do not promote the negative effects of cannabis such as its hallucinations. At the same time, the advertising content must be accompanied by relevant reminders such as "Please read the precautions before eating", "Children, pregnant women and lactating women should not eat". In addition, if any advertising is found to contain false or deceptive advertising, the merchant involved will be punished with a jail term of up to 3 years or a fine of not more than 30,000 baht, or both.

Herbal medicines and related products containing cannabis ingredients must obtain permission from the Thai Food and Drug Administration before advertising.
