In December 2022, the Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security issued the "Notice on Adjusting the Minimum Wage Standard" which clarified that starting from January 1, 2023, Hebei Province will implement a new monthly minimum wage standard of three levels: 2,200 yuan, 2,000 yuan, and 1,800 yuan. After the adjustment, the corresponding hourly minimum wage standards are 22 yuan per hour for the first level, 20 yuan per hour for the second level, and 18 yuan per hour for the third level.
