In addition to Good Future, recently, New Oriental , Gaotu, NetEase Youdao and other related companies announced that they will stop K9 business before the end of the year. This also means that there are many people like Huang Xiaomei who have been engaged in education and training before and are now facing new choices.

Wang Bei works as an elementary school English tutor in a Xueersi Peiyou in Guangzhou. On the last day of 2021, she left this institution that she had been in for more than a year. "I haven't thought about what to do in the future, but I shouldn't be a teaching and training teacher. I used to have no rest guaranteed, but now I have no salary guaranteed."
Wang Bei told the First Financial Daily that when the "double reduction" policy was announced at the end of July last year, it was the summer class. (Xueersi Peiyou) did not specifically tell the teacher about any policy changes, but said that if it had an impact on the operation of the organization, they would inform everyone to stabilize their emotions first and teach as usual.
However, the brief calm and waiting were quickly broken. Wang Bei still remembers that starting from the last class of summer vacation, all offline courses were transferred to online, and they were taught once a day apart.
"We have to notify and explain one by one, but many parents still refunded the fees. Later, colleagues around us also resigned one after another." Watching and waiting, Wang Bei found that she had become the last batch of new teachers. Until the day when Xueersi Peiyou officially announced her withdrawal from the K9 subject training, her determination to stick was shaken.

K9 subject training business has been divested, Xueersi Peiyou provides two options for teachers who choose to stay: stay at Xueersi Peiyou, but transform to quality education , or engage in other jobs such as content publishing; continue to do K9 subject training business, but transfer to non-profit institutions that take over Xueersi Peiyou.
