Recently, the bureau successfully cracked down on a "driver" gang that specifically withdraws stolen money for telecommunications and network fraud by digging deep and expanding clues, arresting 12 criminal suspects, with the amount involved in the case reaching more than 600,000 yuan.
On July 22, 2022, according to the deployment of the superior public security organs, the Tiandong County Public Security Bureau organized elite police officers to quickly crack down on the criminal acts of someone taking away fraudulent funds on a self-service ATM with cards.
After investigation, it was found that several card issuers in the account involved in the jurisdiction withdrew money and handed it to three mysterious men with license plates from other places. After multiple police forces jointly fought, they arrested the people who received the money and investigated them layer by layer, and finally the veil of the gang members was unveiled. The gang was a professional withdrawal gang headed by Weng Mouxiong from Fujian, Jiang Mouming from Guilin, and Tang Moujun from Guilin. After escorting agent Li Moulu in our county, they continued to recruit multiple personnel, promising to provide bank cards with a commission of 5% to allow the withdrawals to provide bank cards and quickly withdraw and transfer the telecommunications fraud funds. The total funds involved were more than 600,000 yuan.
At present, 12 criminal suspects in the gang have been arrested, a batch of bank cards involved in the case was seized, and a vehicle involved in the case was seized. All the suspects involved have been taken criminal coercive measures.
