The "Code of Conduct for Cross-Strait Exchange of Party Public Officials" was submitted to the "Central Standing Committee" for discussion on February 2 this year. There are 10 articles in the whole case. The draft stipulates that before Party public officials participate in cross-strait exchange activities, they must report first, and they shall not ceremonially or chant to flags, emblems, songs, etc. that symbolize the power of the mainland. Articles 6 and 7 stipulate that "enterprises under the name of party public officials shall not accept that mainland Chinese public-owned enterprises, or party affairs, military, and administrative organs hold considerable shares or have considerable funds"; "Party members must ensure that there is no Article 6 before registering for party positions, being nominated for public positions or taking office as party positions."

The New Party supports cross-strait unification and belongs to the deep blue camp. In fact, no matter who is elected, as long as he supports the "1992 Consensus" and supports the reunification of the motherland, the mainland is welcome. The current situation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait is tense, and the responsibility lies entirely with the Taiwan authorities.
