The event aims to help young people on both sides of the strait understand each other and grow together. Players from Shanghai and Taipei will conduct e-sports cultural exchanges through the cloud in the next two months.
It is reported that the launch ceremony of this event was jointly planned and organized by young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. It adopts a model that combines the meta-cosmic venue and the on-site living room. The event form is innovative, with high participation from the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and frequent interactions. Many cross-strait anchors participated in the event, and 10 Taiwanese anchors broadcast the entire process.
"Huihai-Cross-Strait E-Sports Cultural Festival" has been held for four consecutive sessions so far, and has become a bridge for cross-strait youth exchanges. In 2021, in the face of the special environment brought by the epidemic, the youth of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait were linked online and offline, and 2,361 people directly participated in the event. Throughout the season, 128 teams and 1,024 people participated in a total of 127 games, including 31 schools and 64 teams in Taiwan, with a total of 512 people participating, jointly building a virtual and realistic activity communication model.
This year's "Cross-Strait E-Sports Cultural Festival" is based on the three major sections of "e-sports exchange", "people-cultural exchange" and "cultural and creative exchange", and according to the proposals of young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, it integrates innovative elements such as the metaverse, online economy, youth cultural and creative culture. It is hoped that through the online economic career experience, participants in the "Cross-Strait E-Sports Cultural Festival" can quickly integrate into mainland life, employment and digital entrepreneurship, so that young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait share the achievements of mainland economic development .
