Recently, "Honor of Kings" joined hands with five major art academies including China Academy of Fine Arts , Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts , Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts , Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts , and Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts to jointly hold the "King of Scenery" 2021 Chang'an Competition Five Art Academic Graduation Design Exhibition.

This is the idea of 44 art students from 7 majors in the China Academy of Fine Arts to create the theme of "Baihuafang Yiwenlu". They immerse themselves in the "Chang'an City of the Organization" and intuitively show what they see and hear to us.
From a bird's eye view of the bright lights in Chang'an market at the third night of Shangyuan, to the solemn statues full of oriental charm reflected in front of you, to the huge Nuo Opera mechanism shrouded in the strong festive atmosphere of Lantern Festival, the creators of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts presented us with the beautiful scenery of Chang'an in the eyes of ordinary people through works such as "Chang'an Eve", "Shangyuan Nuo", and "No Foreshado".

with the help of the agency Changan City with its vivid, perfect and detailed settings. Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts has gathered 10 majors such as animation, digital media art, visual communication, etc., with more than 20 teachers instructing, and nearly 200 students participated in the creation of works including two-dimensional, three-dimensional animation, new media interactive devices, comprehensive material murals, wood carvings, shadow puppetry and . With rich imagination, they created a Chang'an ecological panoramic view with the theme of "Flying Chang'an Record", presenting an immersive interactive art graduation exhibition with the clue of "Yuan Fang Detective".
In the work "Changlefang Miniature Architecture", you will see the creator hanging from the bottom up, from the outside to the inside, hanging water in the air, flower boats in the air and fish in the air, perfectly restoring the three-dimensional scene of Chang'an City.

With the help of intangible cultural heritage presentation, the shadow puppet animation of " Honglu Temple " designed in the cute Q version style, using Yuan Fang's investigation process, and using him as a clue to substitute the style of the entire Tang Dynasty . We turned the overall game into a shadow puppet style, highlighting the lively atmosphere of the Lantern Festival parade of the entire Tang Dynasty.

In this "King of Scenery", the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Sculpture and Public Art, which participated in the design, combines the elements of "Chang'an Race Year" with "Digital Sculpture Course", with "City of Changes" as the main tone, and uses mechanical principles to make the works interactive, thereby reflecting the prosperity and vitality of Tang Dynasty .
works are eight works, namely "The Palace of Heaven", "Morning Bell and Down Drum", "Fisherman's Song", "City of Changes", "Never Night", "Never Night", "Phoenix Boat and Qin" and "Tang Doucai". The creators use their skillful skills to copy the brilliance of Chang'an, the city of never-lasting, and present vitality. These works change dynamically like time and change like everything in the world. They are engraved in time and perfectly restore the entire Tang Dynasty to the viewer.

Sculpture + Technology = Touchable animation
In the graduation work "Seeing Chang'an Flowers in One Day", Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts' 2017 Animation Art Major, three distinctive Chang'an heroes - Gongsun Li, Di Renjie and Shangguan Wan'er were selected, using the most core principle of film and television animation "visual temporary preservation phenomenon", bringing virtual characters to reality through artistic installations.
This work combines mechanical devices, three-dimensional animation, 3D printing and other technical means to produce 60 character animation models, and rotates quickly at a speed of 24 frames per second. The agile sculpture forms a perfect three-dimensional real-life animation work. We can see from the picture that the three heroes have exquisite clothes and vivid expressions. As the device runs rapidly, they are lifelike and appear in front of the viewer.

Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts: Dreaming into Chang'an embroidered hood
Honor of Kings Linkage Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts Dyeing and Weaving Clothing Art Design Department, led by three teachers and five classmates to jointly create professionally for Chang'an's annual IP, integrating the "Chang'an" elements in the Chang'an annual version into the design concept, pulling the world of kings into reality, and linking IPs to see the glory of Chang'an.
design works start with the elements and colors of Chang'an race year, and two sets of clothing designs were carried out. One set uses the characters Wu Zetian, Gongsun Li, Shangguan Wan'er and Yang Yuhuan in the Chang'an version of Honor of Kings as the design prototypes to design Chang'an style clothing for heroes, while the other set injects Chang'an elements from a modern perspective to design a Chang'an style suitable for modern people. The costume show, in the theme of "Dreams Entering Chang'an to embroider the colorful clothes", incorporates the story line of amateurs traveling to the Tang Dynasty and then to the modern era.

"Honor of Kings" launched this year's "Chang'an Year of the Race" to shape the theme of "Chang'an City of the Organization", which is in line with the core of the cultural spirit of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and adds fantasy elements. It uses the scenes, customs, festivals, artifacts, songs and dances in the version as a carrier. From the detailed design to the cultural background, it can innovate and inherit the cultural spirit of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and interpret the Chang'an style of the Tang Dynasty.

Xuan Xuejun, vice president of the School of Film, Television and Animation Art of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, believes.
