The 2018 Asia Best 50 Restaurant Awards Ceremony moved to Macau, China for the first time. At this year's Asian Restaurant Oscar, 47 chefs from 50 award-winning restaurants came to the scene, which is a veritable food event. Many suspense has settled.

The new restaurants on the list include Neighborhood (32nd place) and Belon (40th place); Caprice also re-ranked 46th place. Hong Kong Grand House (22nd place) and Taipei Mume (18th place) both jumped 25 places and won the Best Progress Award together. The highest ranking in Macau is Yulongxuan (35th), while the shortlisted restaurants in mainland China include Shanghai Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet (8th) and Fuhehui (30th) .
As the Michelin territory continues to expand, the strength of the local restaurant list and various travel guides emerge one after another, and the controversy about this list has never stopped. Cai Lan said this: "All the restaurant rankings of are low-tastes of the main unit, with a narrow vision. As for the recent Mineral Water Food Review: The selected Indian and Sri Lanka Japanese restaurants, everyone knows the heaviest ingredients, how can they be delivered every day? It does not have the consumption capacity of Hong Kong people, the weather is hot, and no good ingredients are fresh. Mingles in Seoul has a higher status than the authentic Korean food in the Shinro Hotel. It is ridiculous to know that the food evaluation is low."
