"I have worked at Foxconn for more than 10 years, and have gained love and 3 children." Geng Shuai, 34, admitted that the reason for staying behind for 10 years is the work complex of "ten years of hard work", and the responsibility of supporting the family.
Before the Spring Festival, Geng Shuai mailed the Spring Festival gifts distributed by the company to his parents in his hometown, and told them that the attendance incentive bonus issued by Foxconn left-behind employees during the Spring Festival is up to 3,000 yuan (RMB, the same below). He expects his comprehensive income to be around 10,000 yuan in February, so the "reverse Spring Festival" is also a good time for him to make more money.
Geng Shuai said that although he does not have the same feelings as his hometown during the Spring Festival, the factory has a strong and rich atmosphere, including dumpling making, light shows, prize-winning quiz, online mobile game competitions, etc.
Li Tao, who was also attracted by Foxconn's left-behind policy, signed up early to choose to stay behind during the Spring Festival.
"Zhengzhou and Xi'an have my home, and there has been an epidemic." Li Tao, who did not want to go back and forth during the Chinese New Year, said, "My parents are also in Zhengzhou, and they are always reunited. After the Spring Festival, they will go back to their hometown to see their relatives."
Li Tao is an engineer in Foxconn, Hong Kong. His hometown is in Xi'an, Shaanxi, and his wife is in Henan. The two bought and settled a house in Zhengzhou. "The monthly mortgage loan is more than 3,000 yuan (yuan), and there is still pressure. The Spring Festival benefits are good. If you can earn more, you can earn more."
Unlike Geng Shuai and Li Tao, the "post-80s" grassroots employees Wu Pengji and Hu Jiangting, a couple of grassroots employees of the "post-90s", rented a three-bedroom and two-living room in a community near the factory. After spending money to decorate them, they took their parents to the city to enjoy the comfort of "reverse Spring Festival".

Wang Xue, deputy general manager of Foxconn Zhengzhou Science and Technology Park, introduced in an interview with China News Service that according to customer orders and production conditions, nearly 100,000 people were on duty this year during the Spring Festival. The company has set up incentive policies in many aspects such as work, bonuses, food and accommodation, and has configured a service team of nearly 100 people, so that employees can feel home-like warmth in the dormitory area.
"We created the best performance in Zhengzhou last year and thank all our colleagues for their hard work."
