Faced with the 12th super typhoon "Plum Blossoms" gradually approaching the coastal areas of Zhejiang Province, the "little electric chiefs" volunteers from the Charity Volunteer Brigade of the Yinzhou District Civil Affairs Bureau of Ningbo City immediately launched the "little electric chiefs cloud anti-Taiwan Plan" to promptly convey the typhoon message to the elderly living alone and in need in the jurisdiction. They called the elderly one by one, asking them to be careful and avoid going out.
On the afternoon of September 12, after receiving the alarm message from the typhoon, the "Xiaodian Chief" volunteers immediately connected to the elderly in need in the jurisdiction, patiently informed them of their precautions during typhoon days, and promptly sorted out and reported the information on the needs of the elderly to help them.
This super typhoon is coming, and most elderly people living alone have different degrees of living problems. After learning about the situation, Ningbo Yinzhou District Charity Federation and District Civil Affairs Bureau organized "Little Radio Chief" to actively contact townships, streets, communities, and mobilize caring people from all walks of life to help the elderly effectively solve problems such as lack of food, mobility difficulties, and water accumulation in houses. At the same time, they coordinated some young people in society to organize and implement diversified services such as purchasing goods for the elderly in difficulties in special weather, offline errands, etc., to ensure that the elderly live a proper life and safely survive the disaster weather.
It is understood that there are 67 volunteers participating in the service this time. As of about 10 a.m. on the 14th, all 5,568 elderly people living alone in difficulty in Yinzhou District who were recorded have achieved "emergency calls" to ensure that no one is missing in the "flood prevention and typhoon resistance" and ensure that every elderly person in need in the jurisdiction has been safe.
