DN (Business Visa): is issued to foreigners who have contact with Vietnamese companies, including cooperation, negotiation, inspection, service, etc. Visa with a maximum period of 12 months, if it exceeds the 3 months, it is issued conditionally.
LD (Labor Visa): is issued to foreigners with labor permits issued by the Labor Departments of each province and municipality directly under the Central Government, with a maximum period of 2 years.
DT (investment visa): visa issued to foreign investors requires shares in the investment license.
NN2 (representative office visa): is issued to the heads of foreign representative offices and branches, the heads of foreign economic and cultural and other organizations, with a maximum period of 12 months.
DN (study abroad visa): is issued to foreign students studying in Vietnam, with a maximum duration of 12 months.
TT (family visit visa): is issued to husbands, wives, and children under the age of 18 with DT, NN2, DH, and LD visas. Vietnamese citizens' parents, couples and children.
VR (other visas): is issued to foreigners who enter the country for other purposes. The maximum duration is 6 months.
GIAY MIEN THITHUC (visa-free): is issued to foreign spouses, children and parents of Vietnamese who are married to Vietnamese. Relationship proof documents that have been certified by consular dual certification are required. The term is five years, and each entry is free of visa. If you do not leave the country after the 6 months expires, you need to renew your visa.
temporary residence card: temporary residence card functions similar to visa, divided into 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, and 5 years. The issuance targets are foreign investors (shareholders) who register a company in Vietnam and foreign personnel working in Vietnam with a labor permit. 2. About tourist visa:

3. About business visa:

In fact, as an operator, you need to have a legally registered business license and obtain a legal identity to conduct business activities in Vietnam. 4. Notes on using the new version of China's electronic passport:
Starting from May 15, 2012, the Chinese public security department will uniformly issue ordinary electronic passports to ordinary citizens. Due to special reasons, Vietnam's entry and exit visa is only issued to " additional paper visa " for entry and exit of China, and Vietnam Customs only stamps the entry and exit seal on the back of the visa. In addition, the authorities that can issue new visas to the new passport are the Vietnamese embassies and consulates abroad and the Entry and Exit Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam. The Entry and Exit Administration of each province and municipality have the right to stamp the extension seal on the back of the visa, and have no right to issue a new VISA to the new passport of China. The new visa cannot apply for a temporary residence card in Vietnam. The maximum period for applying for a Vietnam visa for the new passport is one year.
There is another problem that many people often encounter. Since when the new version of the passport enters and exits to Vietnam Customs, Vietnam Customs needs to stamp the exit and entry stamp on the back of the visa. If the visa holder frequently enters and exits, what should I do if the exit and entry stamp on the back of the visa is stamped before the visa expires? There are two ways to deal with . 5. Regarding multiple round trips, single round trip
Multiple round trip visa means that you can enter and exit Vietnam multiple times during the visa validity period, so there is no need to explain this.
Single round trip is to enter Vietnam from a foreign country, and return to China is to be considered a "return". This is a concept of a single round trip. If some people apply for visa extension in Vietnam before the expiration of a single round trip visa, some people mistakenly think that the concept of extension is to "go" to a foreign country and then "return" to Vietnam. This is a wrong understanding. In fact, a single round trip visa is to enter Vietnam from a foreign country and leave Vietnam as "return". This is a single round trip concept. The extension of visa in Vietnam only extends the "return" time, and you cannot enter again after leaving the country.
Some people want to enter Vietnam again after leaving the country with this single visa. Under normal circumstances, when Chinese customs go out to check their passport visas, if they find that they are a single round-trip visa, they will not be allowed to leave the country. However, sometimes when Chinese customs border guards who have not been in office for a long time and have not paid attention to it, they will be allowed to leave the country. 6. How to apply for visas and solve residence problems for various specific groups:
1. Shareholders of companies with investment in Vietnam only need to apply for temporary residence cards with a valid period of 2-5 years with their company license. The new version of the passport can apply for a round-trip visa multiple times a year, and they may not apply for a labor license.
2. The head of the representative office and the legal representative of the company (non-shareholder) can apply for a visa with a license (the representative office license needs to be based on the validity period of the license). Currently, according to regulations, only one year visa can be applied for, and a labor license is also required.
3. The company's foreign managers, experts and technicians must apply for a labor permit and can apply for a temporary residence card based on the validity period of the labor permit. The new version of the passport can only have a visa, and the maximum period is one year. Currently, the validity period of the labor certificate is up to 2 years. The labor certificate is processed by the labor certificate of the general contractor and subcontractor of the BOT project project. The maximum period for the labor certificate to be processed is the winning project contract, and the maximum period cannot exceed 2 years.
4. Foreigners who live in Vietnam for a long time and marry Vietnamese citizens and their children who have been married to marriage certificates, birth certificates, Vietnamese spouse’s household registration, ID card, temporary residence registration certificate and other relevant documents (if you are applying for a marriage certificate in a foreign country or a child born in a foreign country, you need to go through notarization and consular double certification through relevant departments of the country where you are located) can apply for the following three types of visas:

(2) Temporary residence permit (blue card) with visa category "TT": The temporary residence permit is valid for 1-3 years. There is no restriction on the exit and entry period during the validity period of the temporary residence card, but only the old Chinese passport can be processed.
(3) Permanent Residence Permit (yellow card): The permanent residency permit has no deadline. In addition to the above-mentioned relevant documents, Vietnamese spouses also need to prove that they have a legal residence and a stable income.
5. Legal investors in Vietnam, legal representatives of units, and spouses and children of parties with labor permits can apply for temporary residence permits or visas for visiting relatives with the same period of temporary residence permit or visa with the same period of temporary residence permit or visa with a consular double certification marriage certificate or child birth certificate or household registration. However, China's new version of passport can only apply for a visa, and the maximum period cannot exceed one year.
6. Children of foreign nationality who are studying in Vietnam can apply for a round trip visa multiple times a year with the school's admission certificate and the school's confirmed visa application form (mau NA5). Parents who accompany them can apply for a visa with the same period of time with the kinship certificate.
7. The management and technical personnel sent by companies that win the Vietnamese engineering project need to apply for a labor permit and issue an LD temporary residence permit or LD visa with a labor permit according to regulations. Do not leave the country to work with a tourist visa.
7. Regarding work permit (labor permit)
Which objects do not need to apply for a work permit:
1. Foreigners who have worked in Vietnam for no more than 3 months.
2. A foreigner who is a shareholder member of Vietnam Limited Liability Company.
3. A foreigner who belongs to the board of directors of Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
4. Foreigners who go to Vietnam for business promotion (this is difficult to identify).
5. Foreigners work in Vietnam to deal with emergencies, such as accidents or technical failures, or the impact of complex processes and technical problems threatens normal production and operation, Vietnamese experts and foreign experts are currently in Vietnam for more than 3 months without or unable to handle it. Then foreigners working in Vietnam for more than 3 months must go through the labor permit registration procedures in accordance with the provisions of the law;
6. 8. How to apply for a work permit in ?
