The categories of musical instruments are richer, covering fourteen categories including Guzheng, Pipa, Guqin, Erhu, Bawu/Hulusi, bamboo flute, ocarina, Yangqin, gonghou, Liuqin, suona, flute, Ruan, and Sheng. The selection of participation is more diverse, further enhancing the participation level of the competition.

Ethnic instrumental performers and enthusiasts from kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, secondary vocational secondary vocational secondary vocational colleges, universities, and various folk music training institutions in Fujian Province can register online through the official official account of the "Fujian Provincial Ethnic Orchestra Society". An authoritative jury team composed of dozens of national music college faculty and industry experts will review the entries from April 18 to 24.
