新型(しんがた)コロナウイルス 入院(にゅういん)する子(こ)どもが増(ふ)えている

新型(しんがた)コロナウイルスがうつったことがわかった人(ひと)は20日(はつか)、今(いま)まででいちばん多(おお)い15万(まん)人(にん)以上(いじょう)になりました。

東京都(とうきょうと)にある病院(びょういん)では、コロナウイルスや、RSウイルス感染症(かんせんしょう)という病気(びょうき)などで入院(にゅういん)する子(こ)どもが増(ふ)えて、小児科(しょうにか)のベッドが足(た)りなくなっています。

病院(びょういん)によると、コロナウイルスで高(たか)い熱(ねつ)が出(で)て、水(みず)などを飲(の)むことができない子(こ)どもがいます。体(からだ)の中(なか)の水(みず)が足(た)りなくなる心配(しんぱい)があるため、入院(にゅういん)することが多(おお)くなっています。夏(なつ)は体(からだ)から出(で)る汗(あせ)も多(おお)くなります。
According to hospital news, children infected with the new coronavirus cannot consume things including water because of fever. Due to concerns about insufficient moisture in children, the number of children hospitalized increases. And the body sweats more in summer.
病院(びょういん)は「子(こ)どもにコロナウイルスがうつったら、エアコンで部屋(へや)を涼(すず)しくしてください。そして、子(こ)どもに飲(の)み物(もの)を飲(の)ませてください。尿(にょう)の量(りょう)がいつもの半分(はんぶん)ぐらいになっても、水(みず)などをあまり飲(の)むことができない場合(ばあい)は、病院(びょういん)に相談(そうだん)してください」と話(はな)しています。
Hospital said: "If parents find that children are infected with the new coronavirus, please use air conditioning and other means to keep the room cool. In addition, children must let them eat. If the amount of urination in children is less than half of the usual amount and they cannot get in water, please contact the hospital."
