"2019 Changchun International Marathon" is scheduled to be held in Changchun City on May 26, which is the largest and highest-standard international sports event held in Changchun City. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the event, the organizing committee issued a notice that, with the approval of the Changchun Municipal Government, temporary traffic control measures were taken for some areas and streets from 6:00 on May 26 to the end of the competition.
The competition route of the day was Liberation Road (starting point of Changchun Sports Center)-Xinmin Square-Yan'an Street- Nanhu Square -Nanhu Road- Renmin Street -Satellite Square-Satellite Road-South Expressway-Silicon Valley Street-Chaoda Road-Xihu Road-Cheer Road-Cheer Road-Xing'an Road- Dongfeng Street-Xingshun Road (return)-Dongfeng Street-Western Expressway-Puyang Street- Xi'an Road -People's Square-Renren Street-Liberation Road (end point of Changchun Sports Center).
Traffic control measures are within the enclosed area of Yatai Street-Dajing Road-Beian Road-Liaoning Road-Furong Bridge-Qingyin Road-Hsinchu Road-Kilung Street-Zhengyang Street-Chuangye Street-Anqing Road-Zinnong Street-Xiangnong Street-Xihu Road (inclusive)-Chhada Road (inclusive)-Shengshi Road-Fangcao Street-Ulsan Road, private cars are prohibited from passing. Vehicles that need to pass enter and exit the area in advance or incorrectly according to the prescribed time. Trucks are prohibited from passing through the Ecological Plaza from the Fourth Ring Road (South Section) and the interchange section from Dongfeng Street. Trucks that need to pass through Ring Road in advance. During the
race, motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from passing (traveling) on the track, except for event vehicles and staff. Temporary and long-term parking of vehicles on both sides of the track is prohibited (excluding parking lots and seats). Vehicles that refuse to leave and affect the normal progress of the event will be towed away according to law.
During the period of traffic control, citizens in the controlled area are required to choose public transportation or non-motor vehicles and walking methods to minimize unnecessary motor vehicle travel, reduce road traffic pressure, and jointly maintain the city's image. If a motor vehicle violates the prohibited time and route regulations, the traffic management department of the public security organ shall impose penalties in accordance with the law. Public security organs will severely punish illegal acts such as disobeying the command and management of staff and disrupting the order of the competition in accordance with the law.
