As a member of the JB5GRI program, Linghua Technology will participate in a series of technological explorations, including using AI for network automation, how to achieve decentralized communication? How to achieve a more distant distribution? How to promote high-frequency communication, etc.? JB5GRI will focus on related technologies for future mobile telecommunications systems, and its goal is to conduct early pre-standardization and technical collaboration research on 6G networks and services after 5G.

"We are planning for the future. It will take about 10 years for a new generation of mobile networks to be introduced to the market. In order to make a difference in 6G, we must now start with research and innovation." said Luca Cominardi, senior technical expert and researcher at the Office of Advanced Technology of Linghua Technology.

JB5GRI will begin to study the following conceived cases:

The future artificial intelligence connected vehicles establish a distributed AI basis and have end-to-end network security to support AR/VR smart glasses’ tactile Internet verification of the THz band beamforming (beamforming)

Linghua Technology contributes its expertise in distributed communications, distributed management and distributed computing (including edge computing, fog computing and multi-access edge computing (MEC)) to the JB5GRI program. Linghua Technology was invited to participate because of our leadership in open source Eclipse Edge Native and IoT projects including Zenoh, Fog05 and Cyclone DDS,

Zenoh is a new messaging protocol built from scratch to solve the challenges of data management in fog and edge computing. The Zenoh paradigm adopts a decentralized and distributed approach to achieve scaling from constrained scenarios to network size. Fog05 solves the management of decentralized infrastructure for distributed devices, virtualized applications, and robotic operations in fog computing and edge infrastructure. Cyclone DDS provides the latest, fastest and open source implementation methods for OMG data distribution services for mission-critical IoT systems.

Linghua Technology currently has hardware and software solutions that can meet 5G needs, including MEC edge servers that accelerate Open RAN planning and private 5G network deployment, edge AI heterogeneous hardware platforms that support accelerated processing, and software such as Linghua Technology's DDS and ADLINK Edge™ to connect distributed systems and make real-time intelligent decisions.

"Our participation in this research project demonstrates Linghua Technology's commitment to 5G and its subsequent technologies. For customers who have used Linghua Technology's 5G, AI and IoT edge hardware and software services, there is no need to worry about subsequent technology iterations, as we are considering future needs and have invested in related fields in the post-5G era."

JB5GRI has submitted a project proposal KAIROS (Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence-based smart networks for Reliable mobile cOmmunicationS, which is aimed at reliable mobile network communications and is based on smart network support and artificial intelligence).
