According to the project leader, the Huanxiu Lake Sports and Leisure Park project has widely used the concept of "sponge city" in its design, changed the traditional concept of urban planning and construction in the past, fully followed the laws of natural ecosystem development, adopted a low-impact development model of harmonious coexistence with nature, and achieved harmonious coexistence between humans, vegetation, water, environment and other factors.

From their smiles, it can be seen that citizens are very satisfied with the sports and leisure park created by Jimo District Tourism Investment Company. "My family lives near the park. I come here every day to walk and move around. I feel that the air is fresh and it is very beneficial to my health. The project is really good. "Huanxiu Lake Sports and Leisure Park is a project that is popular. The project leader said. In the park, the 3-meter main garden road adopts gray sand and gravel pavement. The park road adopts ecological grass ditch on one side to ensure water seepage. Multiple landscape nodes are set up along the main garden road. The landscape node paving mainly uses color permeable concrete and sand and gravel sites. The parking lot adopts two types of grass-embedded paving and sand and gravel paving to ensure water permeability. During the engineering design, multiple ecological ponds were retained, and wet plants such as aquatic iris, flower-leaf reed bamboo, and Qianqucao were planted. The entire Huanxiu Lake water surface is also a natural reservoir, ensuring the storage and purification of rainwater in the entire park.
It is understood that in this project, there is also an innovation in cultivation of "plant ecology". In order to give full play to the effects of "sponge city" and "plant ecology", the planting of plants in the garden is mainly natural planting, highlighting the changes in the landscape in spring, summer, autumn and winter. In spring and summer, flowering sub-tree cherry blossoms and crape myrtle are mainly flowering, and in autumn, colored leaf plants, chicken claw maple , and in winter, evergreen plants, black pine and cedar. "Cage Football Field" is one of the highlights of Huanxiu Lake Sports and Leisure Park project. A total of 6 standard cage football fields are equipped in the park, each stadium has an area of 375 square meters and a total area of 2,250 square meters.
