The "Jiwa" animation creative competition of colleges and universities, hosted by the Chenggu County People's Government, hosted by the Chenggu County Tourism Development Committee, and co-organized by Zhongqi Culture Development Group Co., Ltd., was officially launched on September 15, and is now collecting entries from universities across the country. This event is one of the important contents of "celebrating the first 'Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival' and 2018 Shaanxi· Hanzhong (Chenggu) Citrus Tourism Culture Month".

The participation in the "Jiwa" animation creative competition in colleges and universities is the individual or team of full-time students in colleges and universities across the country. The content of the participating works includes the cartoon image design of the Orange Wave mascot and related digital content design of the animation. It requires healthy content, complete story, outstanding personality, unique creativity, rich imagination, and original works independently created by the contestants themselves or team.

The competition is divided into two stages: preliminary and final. The preliminary competition will be held online, and works that enter the finals will be selected through online voting and expert voting; the final will be held in Chenggu on October 27, with a number of cash prizes set up. The organizing committee also specially invited many experts from the auto cartoon industry to form a strong lineup of juries to ensure the fairness and justice of the award selection.

Citrus Tourism Culture Month is one of the ten festivals approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Government. It has been successfully held for many sessions, becoming the shining business card for Chenggu's autumn tourism. This year coincides with the first "Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival". As an important event of this festival, the "Jiwa" animation creative competition in colleges and universities will effectively gather high-quality university animation resources to tailor the animation brand image for Chenggu's "Jiwa"; using the "Jiwa" animation image as a carrier, it becomes a link for people to understand Chenggu and Chenggu's culture, which is of great significance to shaping the "Hometown of Zhang Qian and the Magical Juice Township" tourism brand and promoting the development of Chenggu's citrus industry.

There is no charge for this animation competition, and the deadline for submission of works is October 20th.
