first good news
The South Korean government will reissue short-term access (C-3) visas and electronic visas for foreigners in ordinary countries starting from next month 1. This is two years since the interruption in April 2020.
C-3 visa is a visa issued to foreigners who visit less than 90 days for the purpose of market research, consultation and other commercial activities, as well as tourism, recuperation, visiting relatives, and attending meetings. Previously, due to the new coronavirus, restrictions were only allowed in terms of diplomacy, official affairs, agreements, overseas investment, trade operations, humanitarian reasons. Electronic visas are a system for online distribution to outstanding talents, group tourists, etc. In the adaptation of the overseas entry and exit management system, according to the epidemic prevention risk of each country, it is classified as attention countries (Level 2) and ordinary countries (Level 1) and visa issuance restrictions.
The government has also decided to restore the effectiveness of short-term round-trip visas temporarily suspended in April 2020. If the visa issued before April 5, 2020 is still valid, it can be used without taking other measures. Foreigners who are aware of the country (Level 2) can apply for visas only for necessary purposes. But there is currently no country designated as a "nation country".
Relevant person from the South Korean Ministry of Justice said: "In the future, we will pay close attention to the overseas inflow of the new coronavirus and respond closely based on the epidemic prevention situation."
The second good news
In addition, the South Korean government has also decided to resume the policy of foreign tourists who have been interrupted for more than two years from June 1.
According to relevant regulations, foreign tourists will be able to enter Jeju Island without a visa and stay for 30 days from June 1. In addition to Jeju Island, for group tourists from Vietnam, Philippines , Indonesia and Mongolia , the South Korean government also allows them to visit without visa-free entry through Xiangyang International Airport on the east coast of South Korea.
South Korea announced that it can be exempted from quarantine from entering South Korea starting from March 21, 2022. If Chinese citizens receive the new crown vaccine in China, they can be exempted from quarantine from entering South Korea from April 1.
Applause! It's really a long-lost good news! Although, considering the relevant policies of our country, there are still many inconveniences to travel abroad and still need to be isolated when returning to China, at least the visa has resumed its effectiveness, which can be regarded as seeing a little dawn!
Xiaoyou always believes that in the near future, we will definitely return to our life before the epidemic! come on!
