At present, the land acquisition and demolition of the project has been basically completed, and the project plan design, water conservancy special design approval, and environmental impact assessment approval have been completed. New Park? The Fengxi Wetland Park in the planned plan is located in Lusong District on the east bank of the Xiangjiang River. It starts from the east bank of the Xiangjiang River in the north, ends at Yanjiang South Road in the south, to the south auxiliary road in the south Ring Road in the west, and to Xisan Road in the east. A terrain design that combines hydrophilicity and safety will be created here to create an urban wetland park that reflects the scenery of wetlands and the culture of Fengxi.
"We live in a large population and there is relatively little space for activity." Park is designed and planned to cover more than 600 acres, of which the water area is more than 200 acres, which is equivalent to Shennong Lake. It is planned to have four distinctive plant landscape areas: lake scenery, mountain scenery, maple flower forest, fir forest wetland, and stream water banks. Among them, the lake and mountain color plates allocate plants according to the influence of water level, and choose to mainly water-resistant fir plants, and match them with natural forests and flowers and meadows to create a characteristic water forest ecological landscape with fir trees as the popular science theme.
According to the plan, the wetland park will focus on creating romantic flower beaches, sports worlds, Fengxi fishing villages, Fengxi fishing ports, Fenghu beaches, fir forest wetlands, ancient ferry bridges, and clean water streams "Fengxi Eight Scenerys". The flower beach is equipped with herbal plants such as Qianqucao, Yellow Iris, Flower-leaf Reeds, and Wolf-tail Grass. Colorful leaves and willows and yellow hearts are planted on the boardwalk. The beach is decorated with colored leaves and trees, creating an experience of watching flowers in spring and summer and grass in autumn and winter. Fengxi Fishing Port will use VR and other technologies to introduce fishing port cultural IP, restore dock and shipping scenarios, and bring immersive experience to tourists.

New Park have? The Fengxi Wetland Park in the planned plan is not only a tourist park, but also a good helper in water environment management. As an important part of the urban landscape, Fengxi Wetland Park not only provides leisure sightseeing, but also carries multiple functions such as water quality purification, rain and flood regulation and storage. It is reported that the water coming from the upper river channel enters Fengxi Wetland Park, and will pass through three purification water system systems of rainwater wet pond, artificial wetland and river wetland, and maintain the water from the upper river channel to the fourth category of water and finally enter the Xiangjiang River.
According to the design, the pool in the park will be paved with sand and gravel and plant aquatic plants to create a water ecosystem where fish, shrimps, aquatic plants and plankton can coexist stably, and build a virtuous cycle of various ecology such as wetland restoration and protection. "They can purify tens of thousands of tons of water for the park every day." Relevant designers introduced that various aquatic organisms will effectively purify water quality through adsorption, retention, filtration, redox, precipitation, microbial decomposition, transformation, plant shade, etc.
As a wetland park, water is essential. Where do the water in the new park come from? In addition to the original Fengxi water source, it will also be replenished from municipal rainwater and rainwater in the site. Municipal rainwater is discharged into the wet pond, and after adjustment and purification, it is discharged into the river channel in the site. The rainwater in the yard must be collected from the roads, squares, parking lots and other areas to the sponge source control before it can be collected into the river channel in the yard.
In terms of waterlogging and flood storage, wetland parks will become the terminal for regional rainwater storage. According to the design standards, when the water level line at an elevation of 34 meters, Fengxi Wetland Park can store 228,400 cubic meters of water, and every meter rises of 140,000 cubic meters of water can store more than 140,000 cubic meters of water. When the flood season comes, the wetland park can store up to 659,500 cubic meters of water, equivalent to the capacity of 314 standard swimming pools.
Ecological restoration is not to create a "bonsai"
