According to Yonhap News Agency, LG said It is planned to build a new electric vehicle charging production line within this year at the LG Digital Park in Pyeongtaek City, about 60 kilometers south of Seoul. With the acquisition, LG aims to strengthen its business portfolio along with its existing automotive electronics business for the "electric vehicle era", the statement said.
