Starting from August 1, 2019, 47 cities across the country have suspended the processing of Taiwan independent travel visa G visa. For tourist visas, regardless of household registration, only group visas and L visas can be processed. When will it be resumed? notify.
According to relevant regulations, residents of mainland China need to hold "Two Permits and One Visa" to travel to Taiwan, that is, the "Mainland Residents Travel Permit to and from Taiwan" and endorsement issued by mainland China, and the " Taiwan Entry Permit" issued by Taiwan 》.
Therefore, for travelers who have obtained the "Mainland Residents' Travel Permit to and from Taiwan Area" and G visa, as long as Taiwan's Taiwan Entry Permit continues to be issued normally, they will not be affected and can still travel freely to Taiwan as usual.
Travelers who plan to go to Taiwan but have not yet applied for a pass or endorsement can only travel to Taiwan with a group visa (L visa) and will no longer be able to travel independently.

· Please abide by the law. Behaviors such as smoking in public places, eating and drinking on buses or MRTs, spitting, littering, or crossing the road without following traffic lights may result in fines of thousands of Taiwan dollars.
