In line with the principle of respecting history and maintaining the old as it was, Huangjueya Old Street will repair and rebuild 15 historical and cultural buildings. After inspecting Huangjueya Old Street, Hanlin International Tea Beverage Group officially signed a cooperation agreement with Huangjueya Old Street.
Liu Weicheng said in an interview with a reporter from China News Service that the group wants to develop a deep tea culture instead of impetuous fast-moving consumer goods. Therefore, it has very high requirements for the overall environment around the tea house and the layout will be very cautious. After settling in Chongqing, the group will not be eager to expand in mainland China. The "Hanlin Teahouse" is not just for selling tea when it settles in Huangjueya Old Street. It is hoped that both parties will work together to build it into an authentic Taiwanese teahouse, allowing mainland friends to experience the authentic Taiwanese style, and also allowing Taiwanese in Chongqing to have a chance to go home.
