A Qinling mountain stretches between Guanzhong and Bashu, which makes it extremely difficult to enter the audience from Sichuan and Shu, and also establishes the historical status of the audience. To enter the Guanzhong Plain from Hanzhong, there are five ways to go from east to west. On the east side is Ziwu Road, which crosses Chenggu County from Hanzhong, passes through Ziwu Valley and enters Ziwu Town. The roads west of Ziwu Road are Tangluo Road, Baoxie Road, Chencang Road and Qishan Road. The Zhuangluo Road and Baoxie Road were extremely steep. Zhuge Liang made five northern expeditions, three out of Qishan Avenue, one out of the old road of Chencang, and one out of Baoxie. None of them took Ziwu Road and Zhangluo Road. The Zi Meridian Road is only eight hundred miles long, passing through the Ziwu Valley to Chang'an. However, there are cliffs everywhere in the Ziwu Valley, and you can only walk on the plank road. The plank road is generally a stone hole cut in the steep wall with turbulent water flow, through the horizontal wood as a beam, and a vertical hole on the bottom of the river body, inserting the standing wood, supporting the beam, and then laying wooden boards on the beam to form a passage. In ancient times, there were no sharp weapons or explosives, and it was very difficult to build plank roads. Just as Li Bai said: "The land collapsed and the mountain destroyed the heroes to death, and then the ladders and stones were linked together."
The battles surrounding Ziwu Valley in history were all unsuccessful, adding to the mystery of Ziwu Valley.
1. Liu Bang Fengfeng the King of Han, leaving the pass
At the end of Qin, Liu Bang cut the White Snake uprising, and Xiang Yu agreed that the first entry into the pass was the king. Later, under pressure, after the "Hongmen Banquet" , Was named the King of Han and stationed in Hanzhong. He was walking along the Meridian Road at that time. Liu Bang followed Zhang Liang's suggestion and burned down the plank road in Ziwu Valley to show that he would never enter. At this time, the unhappy Han Xin surrendered to Liu Bang from Chen Cangdao. Later, Han Xin was worshipped as a general. He returned to Guanzhong from Chen Cangdao and ordered San Qin.
2. Wei Yan's Ziwu surprise attack
During the Three Kingdoms period Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, Wei Yan once made a suggestion that he would rate five thousand elite soldiers to surprise Chang'an from the Ziwu Valley. Wei Yan's idea is to lead five thousand Qingqi on his own, five thousand people as logistics, and he can reach Chang'an in ten days. Xiahou Chu is timid, and will definitely flee by the wind. Zhuge Liang entered Guanzhong from Baoxie Road, and could meet Wei Yan after twenty days. Zhuge Liang believes that this strategy is too risky, so it is better to go to Longxi to be ten stable. So after all, Wei Yan's "Ziwu surprise attack" failed to materialize, but his strategy was later tried for him. In 230 AD, after Zhuge Liang's three Northern Expeditions, Cao Zhen couldn't sit still and asked the Lord Wei to ask for an army to conquer Shu. In August of this year, Cao Zhen sent troops from Chang'an. He encountered heavy rain in the Ziwu Valley. The mountain road was slippery and the plank road was cut off. After more than 30 days, he walked halfway and had to retreat. It seems that Meridian Road is not only dangerous, but also the weather conditions are abnormally bad.
3. Lychee Road
"Three hundred lychees per day, and I will grow up to be a Lingnan native." Song Dynasty great writer Su Shi was demoted to Lingnan, and he was able to eat fresh lychees every day. Excited. Going forward, Concubine Yang also loves to eat lychees, but there is no lychee in Chang'an, and the journey is too far from Fujian. The lychees that Concubine Yang ate actually came from Chongqing. Sichuan was originally very hot, but the small landforms in Chongqing increased the temperature here. Today, it is still one of the "three big stoves" along the Yangtze River. Under such climatic conditions, lychees are grown from Chongqing to the Three Gorges area. The soldiers who transported the lychees got the lychees from here, and changed one person every twenty li, and one horse in sixty li, day and night, guaranteed seven days and seven nights. Fresh lychees were sent to Chang'an within a short time. In order to preserve freshness, I chose the nearer Zi Meridian Road.
4. Gao Yingxiang Heishuiyu encounters
In July of the 9th year of Chongzhen, Gao Yingxiang, the "king king", broke the stone spring, prepared to leave Ziwu Valley, and then surprise Xi'an. However, he ignored the weather and steep roads in the Ziwu Valley. Tens of thousands of troops walked for several days before only halfway through the journey. People were tired of horses and horses, and material losses were serious. When the army finally reached Heishuiyu in Ziwu Valley, it was intercepted by Sun Chuanting, governor of Shaanxi, and Governor Hong Chengchou also came to help Sun Chuanting. In the end, Gao Yingxiang was captured and sent to the capital two months later, where he was sentenced to "punishment."
Now the traffic is getting more and more convenient. It takes only four hours from Chengdu to Xi'an. I don’t know what Zhuge Liang, Wei Yan, and Cao Zhen would think if they knew it?
