Chizhou City , has a long history, located in the southern part of Anhui Province, adjacent to Jiangxi Province.
During the Spring and Autumn Period, it first belonged to the sphere of influence of Wu Kingdom . After the Battle of Wu Yue, King Wu Fuchai was defeated by Yue King Goujian , and Wu Kingdom was destroyed and belonged to Yue Kingdom .
