In January 1967, Wang Hongwen and others launched a "January Storm" in Shanghai. In February, the Shanghai Municipal Revolutionary Committee was officially established. After that, all provinces across the country began to plan to establish provincial revolutionary committees. In May 1968, the Liaoning Provincial Revolutionary Committee was officially established, and the members were mainly composed of revolutionary cadres, military cadres and representatives of the people.
Today the person we are going to talk about was once the deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Revolutionary Committee. His name is Yin Canzhen. After serving as deputy director of the Revolutionary Committee, Yoon Chan-jeong made a great contribution and saved many lives. However, as he was in a high position, Yoon Chan-jeong also lost himself and made serious mistakes. Not only was he revoked his post, but he was also expelled from the party. So, what stories do Yoon Chan-jeong have?
Yin Canzhen was born in 1922 in Xintai, Shandong Province, and was born in a wealthy family. In 1938, 16-year-old Yin Canzhen participated in the Shandong Column of the Eighth Route Army in his hometown and entered the 4th Detachment to fight. Since then, Yin Canzhen has been active in Central Military Region with the Eighth Route Army for a long time, and has carried out many anti-"sweeping" tasks, witnessing the victory of Anti-Japanese War . After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War , Yin Canzhen followed the Eighth Route Army of the Shandong Military Region through the Bohai and arrived at the Northeastern region . Since then, he has fought with the Kuomintang and bandits in the ice and snow of the Northeast for many years. In 1948, Yin Canzhen was transferred to the headquarters of the third column of the Northeast Field Army of and served as the head of the combat section. At that time, the commander of the third column was Han Xianchu , and he had the reputation of "Tornado Commander". Under the leadership of Han Xianchu, Yin Canzhen made great achievements in the liberation of the Northeast, and the Kuomintang's ace commander Liao Yaoxiang was captured by the third column.
After the Northeast liberation, the third column was changed to the 40th Army. Yin Canzhen continued to fight in the 40 Army and went south to participate in the battle to march into Central and South . In 1950, Yin Canzhen also participated in the battle of liberating Hainan Island under the command of Han Xianchu, and made another military contribution. After the liberation of Hainan Island, Yin Canzhen participated in the resistance to U.S. aggression and aid Korea and returned to China in 1953.
Shortly after returning to China, Yin Canzhen was promoted to deputy commander of the 118th Division of the 40th Army, and in 1954 he was promoted to deputy chief of staff of the 40th Army. Since then, Yin Canzhen has gradually been valued and was transferred to the Shenyang Military Region, where he served as deputy chief of staff of the Shenyang Military Region. In 1970, Yin Canzhen went further and served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee. In 1972, Yin Canzhen was promoted to deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Revolutionary Committee and became a deputy provincial cadre.
It is worth mentioning that during his tenure as deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Revolutionary Committee, Yin Canzhen also made a great contribution. It was the early morning of February 4, 1975. Yin Canzhen reported the earthquake situation in Liaoning to Mao Yuanxin. Before that, in 1974, more than 100 small earthquakes broke out in Liaoning. With the advancement of time, the earthquake was gradually strengthening.
After listening to Yin Canzhen's report, Mao Yuanxin made a quick decision and issued an instruction for shock absorbing that day. Coincidentally, at 7 o'clock that night, a magnitude 7.3 earthquake occurred in Haicheng . Because of the instructions for shock absorbing, the casualties of the Haicheng Earthquake were significantly reduced. It is conservatively estimated that 100,000 lives were saved. Yoon Chan-jeong also played an important role in Haicheng earthquake relief and made great contributions.
However, during that period, Yin Canzhen was also very close to the "Gang of Four" and became the backbone of the "Gang of Four" in Liaoning. Yin Canzhen also made serious mistakes during that period, such as secretly reconnaissance of Marshal Ye and Xu Shiyou and others, and fabricating their black materials.
After crushing the "Gang of Four", the organization continued to expose and investigate the "Gang of Four". Against this background, the relevant departments found out the crimes and mistakes committed by Yin Canzhen. In 1977, Yoon Chan-jeong was suspended. In 1978, the central government officially issued relevant documents, and Yoon Chan-jeong was removed from his post and expelled from the party. However, Yoon Chan-jeong made contributions during the revolutionary period and was a hero of the revolution. Therefore, although he was dismissed, the organization still considered his life and paid him a fixed living expenses every month. In his later years, Yoon Chan-jeong lived a dull life and died of illness in 2006 at the age of 84.
