In the fierce revolutionary struggle, it seemed like the Spring Festival in 1927 was coming soon.
Just as the Spring Festival approached, Macheng County Acting Chairman of the Business Association, Luo Fengtou, the Trade Union President, and the judge's surname Xu, gathered together with the reactionary forces of the landlords and gentry to conspire to destroy the Macheng County Farmers Association in one fell swoop. The Macheng Special Branch Committee of the Communist Party of China soon learned of the enemy's conspiracy and immediately held a meeting to study countermeasures. It decided to take the initiative. Before the enemy took action, it transferred the volunteer team and members of the farmers' association from Magang District to the city, turning the county town into the earth and smashing the enemy's conspiracy to destroy the county's association.

The poor people who have been cows and horses for generations have come to look forward to the first Spring Festival after turning over. Men, women, young and old were immersed in joy. Everyone was highly vigilant at the Henan Guild Hall to celebrate the Spring Festival, strengthened patrols day and night, checked bad people, waited for trouble, and prevented problems before they happened.
The situation of the struggle between the enemy and us in the county town is showing an increasingly tense situation, which has reached our ears before the Spring Festival. At that time, I was not surprised that these men who were knocked down on the ground, as well as the right-wing forces in the Kuomintang who supported them, would inevitably gather in secret to carry out crazy resistance and counterattack against the poor peasants who raised their swords, guns and sticks. If they did not do this, it would be a strange thing.
As expected, just as we were happily gathering together and preparing to have a "reunion dinner", an emergency notice from the District Agricultural Association came and said that an emergency occurred in the county town. We must prepare to set off immediately and join the nearby farmers' association members to go to the county town to provide quick support.
The one who issued this emergency order was the Macheng Special Branch Committee of the Communist Party of China. When we heard that we were going to enter the county town, we grabbed the food we brought, opened our mouths, filled it into our stomachs for a while, then wiped our mouths with our hands, took the weapons we used, spread our legs and ran out.
At this time, the leaders of the District Agricultural Association, comrades such as Hu Jingshan, Wang Shusheng , had arrived at the place of gathering. As soon as the farmers' association members of the nearby villages received the notice of gathering, they also rushed to the road and rushed to Chengmagang.Some of them were swallowing fish balls in their mouths, some were holding bean shreds in their hands, some were chewing school rakes, some were holding rice balls in their hands, and they came to the departure place while running and eating.

The farmers who came automatically after hearing the news also embraced the main road leading to the county town from the villages and villages on both sides of the road, and wanted to complete the task with us. The next morning, we left the station and headed straight for Li Shunqing and Luo Bitou's residences. The leaders of the Agricultural Association said, "We captured Li Shunqing and Luo's head." At that time, there was a battalion of Kuomintang troops stationed in the county town, and the battalion commander was Yan Zheng. Although they wanted to protect these people, they were afraid that we were numerous and powerful, and did not dare to act rashly for the time being. The dozens of people and guns in the county garrison were afraid to take action when they saw them, and they didn't even dare to say a word.
We captured Li Shunqing and Luo’s tilt, and the county magistrate Liu Fang and the judge surnamed Xu actually came forward to obstruct the action. So we rushed into the county government again.
In the past, the suffering farmers in our village sometimes came to the county town to do business. As soon as they passed by the county government, they felt a sense of fear. Today, we not only rushed into the county government, but also had to settle accounts with them. In a fit of anger, some farmers beat the judge named Xu. In addition, the county peasants association announced in public that it would suspend its positions as county magistrate and presiding officer, and that all power in the county would belong to the peasant association.
The incident of our entry into the county government destroyed the enemy's prestige and the ambition of poor peasants. It had a profound impact on Macheng, and sounded the clarion call for the full development of the peasant movement.
In March of this year, the Macheng County Committee of the Communist Party of China was officially established in the Nursing Hall.
