Our country's New Democratic Revolution is a social revolution led by our party. Its most eye-catching standard is the nationalization of land, that is, the implementation of public ownership policies. In this case, it is bound to deprive some of the existing interests of people, that is, those who dominate the old world. Logically speaking, this kind of class struggle should be clearly distinguished, but we find that in this social revolution, many people betray their own classes and their families, and unswervingly embarked on the path of revolution.
Looking at the history of our party, whether it was during the founding of the party or in the subsequent revolutionary struggles, there were always many people from the landlord class , especially among the party’s senior cadres and leaders, which was a considerable proportion. What are the reasons why these people are on the road to betraying their families and their own classes?
Here we must first understand a fact, that is, a reality in Chinese society for a long time. The vast majority of people at the bottom lack education and do not have mature and systematic ideas. This is why the fruits of the so-called victory of peasant uprisings are often stolen. But in general, it is the people who drive society forward, so those who can grasp the direction of history often follow the general trend. Similarly, this is why our party has achieved success.
Since the Opium War , China has gradually become a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society under the invasion of Western imperialist forces. Under the unprecedentedly severe situation of the national crisis, people with insight have begun time and again national salvation movements. After many explorations and failures, communist thought came into our sight after the October Revolution, which marked the transformation of national salvation activities for China from reform to change. The previous national salvation activities were based on ethnic conflicts, while the subsequent national salvation activities were to join class conflicts, but the national conflicts were still dominated by ethnic conflicts.
has joined class contradictions because those knowledgeable people have realized that after summarizing the reasons for the failure of China's reform activities, they realized that China cannot carry out radical changes to save the nation, which involves the transformation of Chinese society and the reconstruction of the entire social framework. Only by completely breaking the old social order can a new social order be rebuilt, a social order that is conducive to China's modernization construction.
We know that there are two contradictions in the political activities of human society that drives society forward. One is ethnic conflict, and the other is class conflict. These two contradictions exist at the same time, influence each other, and change at any time. In one period, ethnic conflicts are greater than class contradictions, while in another period, class contradictions are greater than national contradictions. In general, in China's national salvation and survival activities, ethnic conflicts are far greater than class contradictions. Therefore, in national justice, class contradictions must be in a subordinate position, which is the general trend of the times.
But putting class contradictions in a subordinate position does not mean that class contradictions are not emphasized, but that due to the actual situation in China, the social revolution must be carried out. For the future of the country, the people in the dominant position of the old world must give up their old rights and interests, give up their class interests in the face of national interests, or betray their own classes. Why did the founding party members betray the class they came from? It is because the production mode and culture of the feudal landlord class have hindered China's social progress, which is an important reason for China's poverty and weakness after the 19th century. In the face of the nation, they choose to place class contradictions in a subordinate position, that is, they give up their class position in order to obey the needs of social change.
So we can see that some people who were originally the ruling class of the old world turned and devoted themselves to the opposing classes and launched a ruthless struggle against their native classes, which are everywhere among the founding masters of our party. They broke with their families and classes so much, just to build a new China.I know a famous example is the founding general Wang Shusheng. He was born in a big landlord family and joined the Communist Party and made a revolution. Not only did he get rid of the bully landlords and his own uncle, he also led the team to fight against his own tyrants and divide his own land.
The elites in the national salvation and survival activity have adopted the attitude of this social change to determine their ultimate success or failure. Those who are unwilling to accept reforms that violate their own interests can only become a countercurrent of social progress and are abandoned by the times. Those who follow the trend of history and betray their own class have seized the opportunity of the times and completed the transformation of Chinese society.
We need to understand that although the development of the communist movement in China has factors such as national salvation, in fact, we also recognize its advancedness and inevitability. Therefore, the success of the Chinese revolution is not only a victory in China's national salvation campaign, but also a great victory in the world communist movement. The tide has risen and fall, and the cause of human liberation also has high and low tides. The new power will surely step onto the stage of the times. Thousands of sails pass by the sunken boat, and thousands of trees bloom in front of the sick tree, and the power of rebirth is unstoppable. As long as we know the general trend of human society development, we will understand that victory will eventually come.
