After the end of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the civil war between our party and the Kuomintang started again.
At that time, the Kuomintang was very strong in terms of military strength, financial strength and armed forces.
But under the leadership of Chairman Mao, our party still achieved the final victory.
The once arrogant National Government has fallen, and Chiang Kai-shek is like a dog that has lost its family, leading the remnants of the Kuomintang to retreat to Taiwan.
So how did our party do it, turning the tables against the wind and achieving the final victory when at a disadvantage?
Chiang Kai-shek's life
In the five thousand years of history, China has experienced a total of 83 dynasties, and the number of emperors is as high as four or five hundred.
In the dynasty of feudal society, there is a saying that has been passed down for thousands of years and is regarded as the truth, that is, those who win the hearts of the people will win the world. The sentence
is also applicable to the modern development of our country. Only organizations that are intended by the people can build a good country and lead the people towards prosperity.
In the War of Liberation, the reason why the Communist Party of China was able to reverse the situation and conquer the country was mainly due to Chairman Mao's wise decision.
In Chairman Mao's military philosophy, in addition to the soldiers responsible for fighting, there is another power that must not be ignored.
That is the power of the people among the people.
Chairman Mao regards "people's war" as the core idea in the War of Liberation. It is under this idea that our party can achieve the final victory.
But later generations were puzzled. As the leader of the Kuomintang, Chiang Kai-shek also climbed to the highest point of power step by step.
, born at the grassroots level, why didn’t he know how to use people’s power to launch a people’s war?
In fact, this starts with Chiang Kai-shek's life experience.
Chiang Kai-shek was born in Fenghua, Zhejiang in 1887. His father was a local salt merchant and his family was very wealthy.
But after my father died of illness, the huge family business fell into the hands of the older brother.
Mother Wang CaiyuTeach hard work raised Chiang Kai-shek, and gave him all his money and sent him to a local private school.
When Chiang Kai-shek was 19 years old, he was influenced by his classmates and friends and had the idea of studying in Japan.
But at that time, except for , studying abroad with the government-sponsored , any individual willingness would have to pay for it out of their own pocket.
If Chiang Kai-shek's father was still alive, he would naturally be able to send him to study abroad according to his former wealth, but after his father passed away, his property was taken away by his half-brother Fang.
What left for them orphans and widows was just a house and a few fields.
After learning about his son's ambitions, Wang Caiyu chose to support him. Even if his family is poor, he cannot delay his son's ideals.
She sold her homeland and even found her brother to help her, which made up enough money for her son to study abroad.
In April 1906, Chiang Kai-shek traveled to Japan with his mother's expectations and began studying abroad at Tsinghua School in Tokyo.
Here, he not only broadened his horizons but also met many friends. After being affected, he gradually developed the idea of resisting Qing Dynasty .
was also in Tokyo, and he met Mr. Sun Yat-sen who started the revolutionary cause here.
At that time, many patriotic young people were called to join the " China Tongmenghui " organized by Mr. Sun Yat-sen.
Similarly, Chiang Kai-shek also chose to join in.
After 11 Revolution , Sun Yat-sen's thoughts were highly praised by patriots, and he worked tirelessly to establish the Kuomintang.
Chiang Kai-shek also began to start a revolutionary cause in China. After returning to China, he always followed Mr. Sun Yat-sen.
But Sun Yat-sen's command was full of talents, and Chiang Kai-shek at that time was just an insignificant young player.
Until 1922, Mr. Sun Yat-sen had to take refuge in Guangzhou Yongfeng ship because of the rebellion of the Guangdong Army Commander.
Chiang Kai-shek led everyone to Guangzhou, boarded the Yongfeng ship to protect Mr. Sun Yat-sen for more than 40 days, until the crisis was lifted and
After the rebellion was quelled, Chiang Kai-shek was rewarded by Mr. Sun Yat-sen for his contribution to rescue the emperor.
1924, with the help of the Soviet Union and our party, Mr. Sun Yat-sen jointly established Whampoa Military Academy .
Chiang Kai-shek, who was deeply trusted by Mr. Sun Yat-sen, became the principal of the Whampoa Military Academy. The establishment of the Whampoa Military Academy cultivated many revolutionary backbones for the revolutionary cause at that time.
Among them, Zhou Enlai, Nie Rongzhen and others from our party have all worked in political education here.
Chiang Kai-shek also relied on the Whampoa Military Academy and became the best among the many Kuomintang officers.
In 1925, Mr. Sun Yat-sen unfortunately died of lung cancer.
At this time, Chiang Kai-shek, who had already held power, became the leader of the Kuomintang with the support of various forces.
Support one's own forces
But since Chiang Kai-shek became the leader of the Kuomintang, he began to reveal his nature.
He deviated from Mr. Sun Yat-sen's original intention and began to support his own forces within the Kuomintang and adopted the nepotism style.
His approach aroused dissatisfaction among other people within the Kuomintang. What is the difference between this approach and the emperors of feudal society, the former Yuan Shikai and the like?
But at this time he had reached the highest point of power, he obviously couldn't listen to these advice. For those former hostile forces, it would be better to directly eradicate them. After
, Chiang Kai-shek even married Song Mei-ling, the "Three Sisters of the Song Family" to strengthen his sphere of influence.
In fact, as early as a few years ago, he fell in love with the daughter who returned from studying abroad at first sight, and even started a passionate pursuit.
, but because Chiang Kai-shek married his wife and had several beautiful concubines, he was strongly opposed by Soong Ching Ling .
Later, Chiang Kai-shek became the leader of the Kuomintang. He came again to marry Soong Mei-ling, and was even willing to dismiss all his wives and concubines.
Soong Mei-ling agreed to the wedding out of the idea of strengthening the family, and the two held a grand wedding.
Since then, the forces of the Jiang and Song families have been tied together because of this marriage. After
, Chiang Kai-shek even won over his brother-in-law Kong Xiangxi , plus his brother-in-law Song Ziwen , Chen Guofu , Chen Lifu family , forming the four famous families in the Republic of China in the 20th century.
The four major families of "Jiang, Song, Kong and Chen" firmly grasped the political and economic lifeline of China at that time.
At this time, Chiang Kai-shek was no longer the young man who had to sell his family's fields when he studied abroad. He held the national government and the economy of the whole country.
As a superior, he has been away from the masses for a long time and cannot even listen to the advice of his subordinates. How could he respect the power from the masses?
Later, Chiang Kai-shek, who deviated from the original intention of the revolution, began to use the army and frequently target our party.
During the Whampoa Military Academy, he had contacts with our party as leaders and had always had various fears about our party.
He began to use the Kuomintang army to arrest and persecute our party members in many places.
How many lively soldiers of our party have died under this kind of forceful suppression.
During that time, the members of our party lived under the cover of white terror.
During that difficult period, Chairman Mao, as the founder of communism, has always led our party members to struggle in a difficult period.
What is different from Chiang Kai-shek is that when Chairman Mao first founded communism in our country, he knew how powerful the power from people was.
He has led local workers to carry out many workers' movements in Changsha, Anyuan and other places.
Later, the white terror spread here. When he returned to his hometown to take refuge, he still did not forget to lead the local farmers to carry out a revolution.
These farmers had never been to school before, and their thoughts were stagnant, and they didn't know how to resist even if they were oppressed for a long time.
But under the leadership of Chairman Mao, these migrant workers woke up, and more and more people joined our party's ranks one after another.
The struggle between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party did not come to an end until the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War.
Watching the Japanese invasion, Chairman Mao and others repeatedly advocated that the Kuomintang and the Communist Party stop the civil war and jointly fight against Japan, but Chiang Kai-shek was stubborn and insisted on the policy of ensuring peace of the country before Xiang and exterminated our party.
This style of conduct has aroused the dissatisfaction of many patriots. Seeing that the country was in danger, Chiang Kai-shek still ignored the overall situation.
It was not until after the Xi'an Incident that Chiang Kai-shek had to compromise and began a second cooperation with our party to jointly fight against the Japanese army.
In 1945, the War of Resistance Against Japan came to an end. When the Japanese surrendered, Chiang Kai-shek's ambitions became increasingly vigorous.
On the surface he was discussing peaceful coexistence with our party leaders in Chongqing, but in private he never gave up his idea of becoming a dictator.
Those who win the hearts of the people will win the world
Chiang Kai-shek ignored the Double Ten Contract he signed and took the initiative to destroy the agreement between the two parties. It is really despicable.
He believed that millions of national troops were in hand and would be able to defeat our party and take all the world into his own hands.
But at this time, the National Government had already been infiltrated by corruption, and all this was caused by him.
In order to take power in his own hands, he supported his own people vigorously. This nepotism method caused many real-life officers to leave.
The people who were oppressed by the National Government finally understood resistance and chose to stand in a team that truly fights for the people.
After the Liberation War began, our Party’s People’s Liberation Army repeatedly damaged the national army’s troops, and more and more cities were liberated.
Whenever the PLA team arrives in a city, the local people will spontaneously walk to the street to welcome it.
On April 23, 1949, the People's Liberation Army team came to Nanjing, crossed the Yangtze River , and marched into major cities across the country.
The National Government had already chosen to evacuate this base area before the arrival of the People's Liberation Army.
, which was once at its peak, has long been on the verge of decline and is heading towards the end of the road.
Chiang Kai-shek could only lead the remnants of the Kuomintang and evacuated to Taiwan. Before leaving, he did not forget to take away a large amount of national treasures, jewelry, gold, etc.
He attempted to rest in Taiwan and then implement a plan to counterattack the mainland, but all this was just his delusion after all.
The last battle between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party has long been doomed. Just as Chairman Mao said in his conversation with American journalist Anna Louis earlier,
"It is the people who can decide the victory or defeat of a war. The victory or defeat of a war is determined by factors such as the political, economic, military, natural geographical and subjective guidance capabilities of both sides. This decisive role is ultimately reflected by the people."
Chiang Kai-shek did not understand this truth, he also proposed to create " New Life Movement ".
But the theme of this movement is to transform the daily lives of the people and advocate "militarization of life".
He hopes to transform the people under his jurisdiction into people who adapt to combat.
This method seems to be to improve people's lives, but it does not consider the people-oriented and people-oriented.
The movement was essentially to maintain the rule of the Kuomintang, and after all, Chiang Kai-shek was to consolidate his power.
Although Chiang Kai-shek was also a civilian, after gaining power, he forgot his original intention of joining the revolution and became a betrayal of the revolution.
Later, in order to make the National Government last forever and to implement its hegemony and dictatorship, it also passively resisted Japan. The crimes are really hard to write.
Chiang Kai-shek, who had been in a high position for a long time, always looked down on the people with a superior attitude, and had never deeply understood the needs of the grassroots people, so he naturally could not gain the sincere support of the people.
