The damage brought by the Anshi Rebellion caused the Tang Dynasty to fall into a huge economic crisis. However, it is regrettable that Emperor Xianzong of Tang changed importantly when he gradually succeeded in pacifying the feudal towns, because pacifying Xichuan, Xiasui and Zhenhai was the result of the joint efforts of Emperor Xianzong of Tang, while the pacification of Huaixi was the victory achieved by Emperor Xianzong of Tang's personal victory amid the opposition of many ministers. Therefore, Emperor Xianzong of Tang became a style of pursuing luxury.
