Nowadays, a self-written poem "Flag Presentation" awakens the long-lost spiritual appeal of Mr. Zhu, a veteran of the Anti-Japanese War in Simao, to persevere in difficulties and rise up in adversity.

Zhu Xian, female, was born in Zhaotong City in May 1925. She is 97 years old and is an old party member with 79 years of party experience. Joined the Communist Party of China in May 1943 and participated in the work of the Democratic Youth Organization. On June 24, 1949, Zhu Xian was sent by the underground party organization of Yunnan University to work in the Sipu area without telling his family in Zhaotong, and was responsible for the organization's liaison work. She endured hardships such as floods, diseases, heat, insects, beasts, and enemy defenses, and walked for more than half a month and more than 1,200 kilometers to reach the Sipu area.

Zhu Xian, as an underground party member who had participated in the "121" student movement and the "715" movement against the United States' support for Japan, began his real life experience. In 1952, an article "Ethnic Minorities Have Their Own Hospital" was published in a health newspaper, and the Yunnan Simao District Ethnic Hospital was officially established. At this time, Zhu Xian was excited about the birth of the hospital.

Just when Zhu Xian, as the director of Pu'er County Hospital, was preparing to do more for ethnic minority areas, she was mistakenly classified as a rightist and was forced to leave her six-month-old child to undergo labor education. In days like this, it was her determination to save the working people when she joined the party that supported her through the difficult years. Because she knows her original mission - to do everything for the poor, she remains determined even after going through hardships. Seeing his happy life now, Mr. Zhu feels that all the hardships and efforts he endured were worth it.

Listen to the party and follow the party. In the war years, he was not afraid of hardship or sacrifice. Mr. Zhu relied on the faith of a party member. Philosophers once said that there are two things in the world that are eternal, one is the sun, moon and stars hanging high above the head, and the other is the noble faith hidden deep in everyone's heart. Times have changed, but Mr. Zhu, who is nearly 100 years old, still sticks to the faith and determination in his heart.
