Less than a week after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China closed, General Secretary Xi Jinping led the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee to Yan'an and proposed that the former site of the Yan'an revolution is "a book that can never be finished", and we must "promote the Yan'an spirit" and "work united and strive to achieve the goals and tasks proposed by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China." The General Secretary’s footprints brought me back to the scene of my memory. I had the honor to receive the baptism of party history learning, education and training in Yan'an, the "holy land", and returned to the revolutionary scene to experience the past. The "high mountain admiration" that was originally buried in my heart became clearer, profound and thorough. There are many revolutionary sites connected by the former revolutionary sites, telling the image of the Communist Party by the river and bay; the glorious stories are presented, rooted in Marxism in the mountains, where ideals and reality shine together.
Before Yan'an, defending the tragic fire, the hardships of going around and going, and the battle to choose a route did not hurt the will of the Chinese Communists, but instead made them more determined: faith is faith, and hardship is tempering, because there are great tasks to follow the trend and great events that create the world. October 19, 1935 was a historic moment when the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the main force of the First Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi. I still remember the night of training. I followed the Yan River water, passed Fenghuang Mountain, Baota Mountain, Qingliang Mountain, surround the statue of Mao Zedong outside the Revolutionary Memorial Hall, jogged 10.19 kilometers in the old city of Yan'an, felt every inch of land at the foot of the Long March, returned to the party school dormitory, and then opened the pages of the "Red Yan'an" at the bedside, and realized every awakening of the revolutionary starting point. Take action and make everything real.
in Yan'an day and night, combined with the thoughts of learning before and after, the answer to why "only the Communist Party can save China" and why countless intellectuals "climb to Yan'an City" is becoming clearer and clearer:
Because of a pure belief that originates from the truth and
is unquestionable.
"There is a kind of power to eliminate personal differences, making them truly forget their existence, but they also find that they share freedom and hardships with others." This is what American journalist Edgar Snow saw and thought about the "red revolutionaries" after investigation in northern Shaanxi. Pursuing communism with "free and comprehensive development of man", adhering to the great way of "establishing one's heart for heaven and earth", and having the heart of "I will have no self" in the people's sentiment. These down-to-earth idealists and optimists who smile at the scenes have taken the multiple oppression of resisting feudalism, imperialism, and bureaucratic capitalism as their mission, and have practiced the realization of national independence, people's liberation, and political democracy. While planning, in the dim light of the cave in the middle of the night, Mao Zedong was fond of calligraphy and thought about writing. Although he was in the deep corner, he looked around the world and used 112 articles from the Yan'an period to study the internal connections of objective things. With the power of "seeking truth from facts" thinking, he tugged the heartstrings of China, attracting patriots and kind people from all directions. Communism ideal beliefs are not like the "software" that makes everyone sit up in a panic while dying, but like the "weather vane" that makes you firmly believe that there will be a time when the wind and waves break. This reveals that the power of progress comes from the direction of progress, and firm actions come from the correct thoughts. Young people are characterized by high enthusiasm, but they need to raise the flag and target the spark with rational cognition and belief. In addition to the enthusiasm for revolution and the long-term vision, we must also have a method of struggle and an understanding of ideals, and truly understand, truly believe in the lofty ideals of communism and the common ideals of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Because of a revolutionary spirit that comes from the heart and is loyal to
"When the revolution failed, many Communist Party members left the Communist Party, and some even ran to the enemy, but you joined the Communist Party in the autumn of 1927, and your attitude was very positive", "You are the first in revolution, work first, others first, while some people are the first in the limelight, rest first, and yourself first." This is a 60th birthday letter written by Mao Zedong to his teacher Xu Teli. This "Minister of Education" from the northern Shaanxi Soviet Area joined the Communist Party of China at the age of 50 and followed the Long March of the Red Army at the age of 58. He was supposed to "rest and recuperate", but he responded to the revolution without hesitation. This spirit can be seen from the words of the student Mao Zedong's respect. There is no need to say anything. This is the valuable revolutionary spirit that the Communists are selfless and enterprising, unremittingly working, shake China and touching people's hearts. "If you can persist for 100 steps, you should not take 99 steps." Ren Bishi had three fears: one was afraid of having less work, two was afraid of trouble, and three was afraid of using too much money. This fear is a concentrated expression of sense of responsibility, crisis, and initiative, and is an exemplary attitude of "follow me" rather than "rushing me". From Fenghuang Mountain to Wangjiaping , it is like a microcosm of the road journey from Shikumen to Tiananmen and from Ruijin to Beijing. Each Yan'an revolutionary site that blends with Loess Plateau is restrained and demonstrates self-evident perseverance, firmness and firmness under the shade of trees. The revolutionary spirit of hard struggle of the military and civilians in Yan'an is in line with the cultural foundation of the strong and self-reliant in China, and pushes the wheel of Chinese history forward. This tells us that the younger generation must always maintain the youthful genes of doing things and starting businesses and striving forever, bear the hardships in every step, bear the difficulties in taking the initiative, bear the heavy burden in being able to take on the big responsibilities, and bear the danger in bravely facing the crisis. Huang Yanpei went to Yan'an, which led to the famous "cavity pair". He also expressed his feelings of "Everything is organized and everyone is trained" while walking along the way. We also arm ourselves with our responsibility, strengthen our historical initiative, strengthen our actions in the times, and show our spirit in achieving every little thing and doing every task well.
Because of a simple pursuit that originates from the masses and is sincere and unchanging,
"The thoughts that occur in millions of people in life and social struggles are truly the basis of philosophical thoughts," said the Marxist philosopher Aisiqi , an Yunnan-born Marxist philosopher Popular Philosophy in his book " Popular Philosophy ". It is precisely the linking of the ambitions of the country and the welfare of the masses that the universal truth of Marxism has found the greatest common divisor with the concrete practice of the Chinese revolution. During the Yan'an period, the central leaders had a piece of self-cultivated field and went to the fields to do production. Zhou Enlai was anxious to retrieve a pencil head that was thrown away. Zhu De asked not to tie horses on the trees because he was worried about destroying the trees of his fellow villagers. Each trivial matter reflects one sincerity after another. Mao Zedong said, "All our working cadres, regardless of their positions, are service members of the people." The Communist Party has brought livelihoods and established dignity to the people of the northern Shaanxi Soviet Area, so the people are always standing with them. It is precisely with this position that the "Yan'an style" of "only seeing public servants but not officials" defeated the "Xi'an style" of "only knowing how to be an official". This inspires our young generation to always take root in the earth, take self-discipline first, start from around us, return to reality, carefully look at social phenomena, listen to social voices, and do social surveys, be good at seeing the small knowledge, and do more heartwarming things about spring breeze and rain. In daily life, you do not do things because of small things, and do not act recklessly because of simple things. I hope that others will do what you do first, and you must do what you can do well. Be a demonstration of words and deeds in the combination with the masses and reality, so that your ideals can take root and put your feet into the ground.
Yan'an's deeds carries the dawn of New China, and the Yan'an spirit enlightens the youth of the new era. The life trajectory of contemporary young people is highly coincidental with the great journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country. As we embark on a new historical period, we shoulder the same glorious mission of the times. The above is just a drop in the ocean the Yan'an spirit has given me. It is not so much a retelling as it is about experience. Many times, a person, a sentence, an image, or a story in history does not need to be explained too much, but it itself has a lasting existing power. In contrast, on my own life journey, there are still many residual fear mentality, leftover tendencies of slackness, and temporary passive ideas. Although it is no longer in the revolutionary period, the challenges of the Long March of the new era are more complex and the situation is more complicated, so pure belief is more needed to nourish, revolutionary spirit is more needed to spur, and simple pursuit is more needed to be firm.General Secretary Xi Jinping once said, "History never waits for all hesitant, wait-and-see, lazy, and weak." Only by keeping in mind the teachings, not forgetting the way we come, and "setting towards a new goal of striving"!
