Western Qin (385~400, 409~431), one of the regimes of the Five Hu Sixteen Kingdoms. Longxi It was built by the leader of the Xianbei (some say it belongs to the Xiongnu ) Qifu Guoren. Duyuanchuan (now Lanzhou City, Gansu Province). Its country name "Qin" is named after the place where it was located in the Qin State during the Warring States Period. In 385, Xianbei chief Qi Fu Guoren was called the Great Chanyu in Longxi. He was later named the king of Yuanchuan by the former Qin emperor Fu Pi , and the capital was Yongshichuan (now Yuzhong, Gansu). In 388, his younger brother Qifugan returned to the throne and was named Great Chanyu, King of Henan. He moved his capital to Jincheng (now west of Lanzhou, Gansu). In 400 AD, the country was destroyed by the Later Qin Dynasty. In 409 AD, the country was restored, renamed King of Qin, and moved its capital to Yuanchuan. Qifu Chipan and moved the capital to Wuhan (today's Linxia City, Gansu Province). At its peak, its ruling scope included southwestern Gansu and parts of Qinghai. There were four emperors in the history, and the country was founded twice, totaling thirty-seven years. It was destroyed by the Xia Kingdom in 431.
The hero of this article is Qifu Chipan who restored the Western Qin Dynasty and moved the capital. Qifu Chipan (?~428 AD) was born in Yuzhong, Jincheng (now Yuzhong County, Gansu Province). The third monarch of the Sixteen Kingdoms period of the Western Qin (412 to 428 years), the eldest son of King Wu Yuan who had begged to beg for power and returned to . Qifu Chipan has a brave and resolute personality, and has extraordinary strategies. After his father was defeated by Emperor Yao Xing of the Later Qin Dynasty, he entered Nanliang as a hostage. He defected to the Later Qin Dynasty and served as the governor of Xingjin and the captain of the guardian of Xiyi, and developed and strengthened his power. In the first year of Gengshi (409), after the restoration of the Western Qin Dynasty, Qifu Chipan was established as the prince and exercised military and political power. In the fourth year of Gengshi (412), he officially succeeded to the throne and was named Yongkang. Attacked Tuyuhun , destroyed Southern Liang, migrated Qiang people , and continued to fight with Northern Liang. He died of illness in the ninth year of Jianhong (428). His temple name was Taizu and his posthumous name was Wenzhao.
In the tenth year of Taichu (397), the Western Qin Dynasty was conquered by the Later Qin Dynasty. The king Qifu Gangui led the prince Qifu Chipan to flee to Nanliang, and begged the king Bald Fa Lilugu to take him in. In order to fight against the Later Qin Dynasty, the country's leader Tufa Lilu took in Qifu Gangui and his son, and married his niece Tufa (the daughter of Tufa Litan) to Qifu Chipan. At a young age, Qifu Chipan possessed great talents and strategies, was invincible in bravery, and had a good appearance. Bald Hair was similar to him in age and was said to be as beautiful as a flower. A pair of young people should have loved each other, but Qifu Chipan fled Nanliang twice, and chose to abandon the Tufa clan both times.
In the third year after the two got married, that is, in November 400 AD, Qifu Chipan, who was a hostage in Nanliang, escaped and planned to defect to Hou Qin to find his father, but was captured. Bald Li Lugu, the king of Nanliang at that time, was very angry and ordered Chipan to be killed. The bald-haired Laitan did not want his son-in-law to suffer, so he came forward to dissuade his brother and said to him: "The minister fled back to the emperor and father to uphold ancient times and promote justice. Therefore, Wei Wushan Guan Yu fled, and Qin Zhaoshu Qingxiang passed away. Although Chipan fled and rebelled, Filial piety is commendable, and it is appropriate to forgive him as much as possible. "So Li Lugu pardoned Chipan.
But in April of the fourth year of Hongshi of the Later Qin Dynasty (402), Chipan left his wife and ran away again. This time he successfully escaped to the capital of the Later Qin Chang'an. At this time, Tufa Laitan had become the monarch of Southern Liang, and Tufa became a serious princess. Tufa Litan was quite tolerant and felt sorry for his daughter, so he took the initiative to send Chipan's wife and children to the Later Qin Dynasty, and Tufa returned to her husband. Not only that, Tufa Litan also married his other daughter, Xiao Tufa, to Qifu Chipan as his concubine.
In the fifth year of Yixi (409 years), Qifu Qiangui fled back to his old land in the Western Qin Dynasty. The Western Qin Dynasty restored the country, and Chipan was restored as the crown prince. Around this time, Tufa followed her husband back to Western Qin from Later Qin, and has been living in the land of Western Qin ever since.In the fourth year of Gengshi (412), Qifu Qiangui was killed by his nephew Qifu Gongfu. Qifu Chipan captured and killed Qifu Gongfu to avenge his father and inherit the throne. Tufa also became the princess of the Western Qin king, and her sister Xiao Tufa became the concubine.
Qifu Chipan can be regarded as a hero. His 17 years of reign were the most powerful period of the Western Qin Dynasty. The idiom "all-powerful" comes from his evaluation in " Jinshu ". After taking the throne, Chipan began to conquer the east and west, driving the forces of Later Qin and Tuyuhun out of the Western Qin, and slowly conquered some surrounding tribes. The ambitious Qifu Chipan wanted to become a king, so he set his sights on the neighboring country and his wife's hometown - Nanliang.
In the seventh year of Jiaping (414), a famine occurred in the Nanliang Kingdom. Tufa Laitan took the risk of leading troops to attack the Yifu tribe in Tuyuhun to the west to supplement the national strength. Although Yifu was defeated and more than 400,000 cattle, horses and sheep were captured, However, his son-in-law took advantage of him from behind. Qifu Chipan personally led 20,000 elite troops to attack Nanliang. In less than a month, he captured Ledu, the capital of Nanliang, and captured all his bald-haired wives and children to the Western Qin Dynasty. Tufa Laitan surrendered to the Western Qin Dynasty, and the Nanliang Kingdom was destroyed.
Initially, out of consideration for Bald-haired Latan's kindness in saving him in the past and the respect of his beloved wife, Qifu Chipan treated his father-in-law as a distinguished guest and named him "General Hussars". But soon after, he thought he was "too old to die", so he repaid kindness with hatred and secretly poisoned Bald Tan to death, while treating his wife "as before". After he officially became king, he killed Bald's family in November 414. Become a queen. The Bald Queen's sister, Xiaobald Lady, was named Mrs. Zuo. Although Qifu Chipan had abandoned his wife several times and ran away, he seemed to have some conscience later and he loved his legitimate wife Da Balda very much. Although the Bald Queen was very favored by Chi Pan, she hated her husband for destroying the country and killing his father, and was determined to take revenge. Northern Liang had always been at odds with Western Qin. When King Juqu Mengxun learned of this, he thought it was a good opportunity to get rid of Qifu Chipan, so he sent someone to secretly contact the queen's brother Tufa Hutai (the prince of Southern Liang), He said that he was willing to lend him troops and join forces with him to deal with the Western Qin Dynasty, but it was a pity that the matter was leaked. Chipan did not pursue the matter for the sake of the Bald Queen. He still doted on the Queen and married one of his daughters to the Queen's youngest half-brother Bald Poqiang Yuanhe.
The Bald Queen wanted to avenge her father, so she endured the humiliation. On the surface, she was gentle and considerate to Qifu Chipan, but she secretly accumulated her own strength. In October of the fourth year of Jianhong (423), Queen Tufa said to her brother Tufa Hutai: "The Western Qin Dynasty is our mortal enemy. My father's death was not God's will. Before his death, he left a will to refuse treatment. It is to save the lives of our children. The love we have had over the years has been nothing more than a temporary solution, all because the time was not right. We are both our father's biological flesh and blood. How could we remain the concubines of our enemies forever? Where's revenge?" So the brother and sister contacted General Wu Wei and went to Luocheng to prepare to assassinate Chi Pan.
However, when the brother and sister were discussing the matter, they did not avoid Mrs. Zuo's little Bald Hair. Although the little Bald-faced clan was named Madam Zuo and her status in the palace was second only to the queen, the emperor always doted on the Queen and showed little favor to Madam Zuo, which caused the Little Bald-faced clan to be extremely jealous of her sister. Qifu Chipan initially wanted to persuade the queen, hoping that she would change her mind. But the bald queen has been resentful of her husband for a long time. No matter what he says, it will not help, and she wants to die. Qifu Chipan finally became angry and executed all the bald brother and sister and more than ten of their accomplices in a fit of anger.
However, when Qifu Chipan executed the Bald Queen, he soon regretted it. He still loved the Bald Queen who was by his side when he was in danger. However, the hatred between the country and the family has destined the couple to never return to the past. After the death of the Bald Queen, Qifu Chipan missed her day and night, and soon his body collapsed. Five years later (428), Qifu Chipan passed away in memory of the bald queen.
Xiao Tufa thought that he had done a good job in informing, but seeing that Qifu Chipan executed the queen, he felt that he would definitely be succeeded as the new queen. Unexpectedly, Qifu Chipan was very dissatisfied with her betrayal of his brothers and sisters. Not only did he not make her his new queen, but even the last trace of his favor disappeared. Before Qifu Chipan's death, Mrs. Zuo's Xiaobald Hair had completely fallen out of favor.
