Yellow Turban Rebellion
In the seventh year of Guanghe (184), the Yellow Turban Rebellion broke out and quickly swept through most states and counties in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In order to suppress the Yellow Turban Army, the Eastern Han Dynasty ordered officials from various places to recruit soldiers to quell the rebellion. Therefore, Han Dang joined the army and fought everywhere with the troops.
Han Dang, whose courtesy name was Yigong, was from Lingzhi in western Liaoning. In order to use the bow and horse, he had physical strength. Fortunately, Sun Jian was able to go through many expeditions, encountered many dangers, was trapped by the enemy and captured, and became the commander of another department. In the second year of Chuping (AD 191), Sun Jian was ordered by Yuan Shu to attack Jingzhou Mu Liu Biao, but unfortunately died. Sun Ce then took over the command of his father Sun Jian, and Han Dang then switched to serve Sun Ce. In the second year of Xingping (195), Sun Ce crossed the Yangtze River south, and Han Dang followed him in the expedition to Jiangdong.
Han Dang took the lead in the battle and was the first to scale the city wall in every battle. He made great contributions to Sun Ce's pacification of Wujun, Danyang, and Kuiji counties. Afterwards, Sun Ce rewarded Han Dang for his merits, so he promoted Han Dang to be the first captain of the school, letting him command two thousand elite troops.
In the fourth year of Jian'an (199) when Jiangdong was pacified, Han Dang followed Sun Ce to attack Lujiang prefect Liu Xun and drove him away. Since then, most of the counties in Yangzhou have belonged to Sun Ce, laying a good foundation for his younger brother Sun Quan to establish Soochow in the future.
Three, served Sun Quan

In the fifth year of Jian'an (200 years), Sun Ce died of illness and asked Sun Quan to rule Jiangdong before his death. Han Dang continued to be loyal to Sun Quan and followed him to control Jiangdong. Sun Quan was young at that time, and the counties in Jiangdong had just returned to the Sun family, so people's hearts were not completely attached to him, and many people took the opportunity to cause chaos. Sun Quan then ordered Han Dang and others to go and conquer, and under their attack, the rebellion was quelled.
In the thirteenth year of Jian'an (208 years), Sun Quan attacked Jiangxia Governor Huang Zu in order to avenge his father Sun Jian, and launched the Battle of Jiangxia. Han Dang then fought desperately in the Battle of Jiangxia, vowing to avenge Sun Jian. In the end, Sun Quan won and killed Huang Zu, avenging his father's murder.
Zhou Yu
Shan Yue in the Poyang Lake area saw that Sun Quan was busy crusading against Huang Zu, so they all rose up in rebellion. Sun Quan then sent his army to conquer Shanyue, and appointed Han Dang as the county magistrate of Le'an. Later, Shanyue of Le'an, under the governance of Han Dang, was afraid of Sun Wu and obeyed his rule.
Battle of Chibi
Soon Cao Cao conquered Sun Quan in the south, and the Battle of Chibi broke out with him. Sun Quan then appointed Zhou Yu as commander-in-chief and led his generals to resist Cao's army. Han Dang, Cheng Pu , Huang Gai are the three veterans who followed Sun Jian, and they have worked hard and made great achievements. Han Dang then followed Lu Meng to seize the southern county of Nanjun, and was promoted to partial general and prefect of Yongchang.
Later, in order to avenge Guan Yu and recapture Jingzhou, Emperor Shuhan Liu Bei launched the Battle of Yiling . Han Dang followed Lu Xun and defeated the Shu army in Zhuoxiang, so he was promoted to General Weilie and Marquis Duting by Sun Quan. Prefect. In the fifth year of Huangwu (226 years), a rebellion broke out in Danyang. Han Dang led more than 10,000 elite troops to attack and put down the rebellion. But soon Han Dang fell ill and died.
5. His son defected
Han Zong
After Han Dang's death, his son Han Zong inherited the title and title of Marquis of Shicheng. Sun Quan then went to Shiyang to quell the rebellion, leaving Han Zong in mourning to stay at Wuchang. But Han Zong indulged in drinking and sex during the mourning period, which was a very unfilial act at the time. Sun Quan did not punish Han Zong because he cared about Han Dang's merits. But Han Zong had a guilty conscience and believed that Sun Quan would not let him go, so he planned to defect to Cao Wei.
Han Zong was worried that his men would not follow him to defect to Wei, so he first sent people to rob merchants along the way, and then lied to them that Sun Quan would punish them. Everyone was worried about being punished, so they had no choice but to express their willingness to surrender to Wei. Then Han Zong married off the girls from his relatives and his maids and concubines to everyone, and made blood alliances with them. Then Han Zong took his father's coffin and thousands of people to surrender to Wei.

Zhuge Ke
Cao Wei was very happy about the surrender of the son of General Sun Wu, so he made Han Zong a general and Marquis of Guangyang. Then, in order to show his loyalty to Cao Wei, Han Zong led troops to invade Sun Wu many times, causing peace on the Sun Wu border. Sun Quan resented Han Zong very much, but there was nothing he could do about it. In the first year of Jianxing (252), the Battle of Dongxing broke out between Wei and Wu. As a result, the Wei army was defeated and Han Zong was killed. Wu general Zhuge Ke cut off Han Zong's head and sent it to Sun Quan's spirit to worship.
