1. Qin Shihuang did not believe that Hu Hai would grab the emperor’s position.

2. Qin Shihuang did not believe that he would die so easily

3, Qin Shihuang’s selfishness

When he saw Qin Shihuang slaughter the people, Fusu couldn't help but want to dissuade him. But this behavior offended Qin Shihuang, so Fusu was punished to Shangjun and assisted General Meng Tian to build the Great Wall to resist the Xiongnu. In addition to not wanting to see Fusu and himself working against each other, Qin Shihuang thought that he could live a long time, so he wanted to let Fu Suduo go out and practice, accumulate more people for himself, and then let him succeed.I am convinced at home.
Ran Fusu and his own political opinions are incompatible, but Fusu is a son after all, and he will inherit the throne in the future, so although Qin Shihuang liked Fusu, he did not immediately declare his position, thinking that Fusu will experience the throne. 6. Hu Hai got help from Zhao Gao and Li Si

And when the imperial decree was issued, Meng Tian also repeatedly stopped Fusu not to be too impulsive, and advised him to think twice, and be careful that this was the trick of Hu Hai. But Fusu said to Meng Tian, if the father wants to kill his son, what else should I ask for? He committed suicide after speaking.
